Proposed Stargate Atlantis Fan-Fic. Question for the ladies.

Am working on doing a story for SGA.
Not to give out too many or big spoilers.
There will be some young "pre queen" wraith females.
And in the tradition of SGA. Will try to avoid giving the Wraith names.
Would go with titles instead.
And for the young wraith females.
Was wondering wich title would be more preferred,or less insulting to be used.
Was thinking of going with "Madien" in stead of something like "Princess".
Would any of the "females" of the board have any suggjestions on this subject?
And contributions are welcome.

Well, it seems like Wraith titles are just approximate translations of a Wraith's duties. Any sort or name translation would likely be really long, since the Wraith are telepathic and their identities are worn on their sleeve so to speak, each mind would likely have a different "taste". In English, it would probably amount to to a brief autobiography-psych profile.

So, mu advice: figure out what these pre-Queens do, and give them that title.

Well for the character in mind.
It is a female wraith that has not matured (so to speak) enought to become a Queen.
And what I was looking for was a title for the said level that would prehaps not be insulting to out female readers.

That and I hate trying to think up names,and title and such for my characters.

If it's a foregone conclusion they're going to become quees, why not call them Heirs? It has all the right connotations and is not a gender-charged term.

QIN could get a bit wordy to repeat too often,and I would think after a while a abrv wouldn't work too well.

Really the main reason for the thread is that I hate trying to come up with names for characters and stuff.


And have nearly got my facts,and figures all straightened out.

Just a little more research and I will start on my fic.



Just hope I haven't gotten any ones hopes up.
