I go to ff dot net and sam and jack always forever. To be honest, I have a difficult time with LJ because of the linear format and the unsearchability factor. I tend to read ff only on my PDA, therefore want to be able to pull it down quickly and easily.

I know what you mean. I tend to only read ff on my mobile phone, so the hassle of going to livejournal, and then finding the community, the fanfic, etc. is just beyond not worth it.

Back to reading on my phone - I prefer it to reading on my computer. My computer screen is bright and obnoxious, and sitting in a chair for hours on end does get to you. The accessibility of reading it on a phone, especially a smartphone (like a blackberry or an iphone - I have an LG KM900) makes life so much easier. I can read ff in bed, on the train, and anywhere else I like, without having to cart around a laptop or waste paper in printing.
Plus, free WiFi connections are so worth it in this regard (why I like going to McDonalds, lol).

I don't know if someone already mentioned these fics, but they are really great!

The Monkey screaming series is definitely worth a look. It's about clone Jack and how he deals with being a clone.

Here's a totally funny gen fic that's Rodney-centric. OMG. Everyone's pretty much in character except for a moment or two but it's a great read

Murphy's First Law - Uh oh! The Stargate's spitting out a new McKay every 38 minutes! But that's only the frosting on the cake as far as problems.

And since i'm here, y'all can take a look at my Universal Sin Series

Stargate: Universal Sin - AU Divergence from Be All My Sins Remembered where the fleet gets handed a major defeat. Focuses on characters and how they deal with the loss and move forward. Would be a series finale for Atlantis and potentially the start of a new show. Is a seperate entity to SGU and has a very minor crossover near the end. It can get dark at times, but there's still plenty of action and humor. as well as drama and UST, but it's since it's a dark character focused story, it just looks like it's shippy.

This is quite long and each episode is a seperate story on FF.Net. It's just about done and next week i'm posting the last episode.

Awesome find there A/L read half of it yesterday and i must say i agree the characters are very well written i could even see this being a real episode and the funny moments with rodney were hillarious

These are the two Fanfics I have written for Stargate Atlanits. Both of them are John/Teyla fanfics.

Conversion One-Shot - This is my first time writing John/Teyla so be nice. It's a run-off of something Joe Flanigan said in the commentary for the episode. In a take he said "I'm sorry". I thought it would make a good one-shot.

I Thought I Had Lost You - Second John/Teyla fanfic. The beginning is a little sad because the team loses a team member but it eventually gets better. And there is even an underlying element that no one has caught onto yet.
