And from my copy of the 2010 program, the dates for the 2011 con are November 18-20. Still at the LAX Marriott.

I'm surprised it's been moved later in the year.

The pre-reg tickets are being charged next(??) week, so tickets might be online in the not too distant future.
So now would be the time to start requesting guests

Looking at the calendar for 2011, that's the weekend before Thanksgiving. I wonder how many non-locals will really be willing to fly into LA for the con when they may be flying out to other places for the Thanksgiving holiday a couple of days later.

Chris Judge has been announced for Vancouver and Chicago - pity he's not (yet) coming to LA!

That was brought up to Gary by several of us. He's aware of the bad timing. It has to do with a huge Twilight event they're working on, that can only be done the first weekend of November, I guess. I said even moving it 1 week earlier would help. He said the date could possibly be moved. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Wouldn't surprise me if he ended up doing L.A. too. They don't even have a webpage for it yet. They need a big SG-1 star, and he hasn't done Creation cons for years.

Tickets went on sale last year on the 10th/11th of December...so start clearing a space on that credit card!
