I received word today that our visual effects supervisor lost his house to a fire recently. He lost everything including his computer and will not only be unable to complete the work he was doing for us, but also unable to accept paying jobs as well.
While this is a serious setback, we only have a few shots remaining in principal photography for the second episode. Filming goes on. Also, pre-production for the third episode is still under way as well. We will continue production and will make every effort to find new CG artists to help us out.
This does make it impossible for me to give a release date for the second episode, which we had hoped to release by the end of summer 09.
