I heard from my lawyer (solicitor just sounds wrong ) that he's reached a settlement with the drunk driver and I'm to get a very large cheque any day now Enough to cover three months' lost income and more on top for 'pain and distress'

He lost his licence for five years (the driver, not the lawyer) because it wasn't his first drunk/driving offense. Silly man

Ok, the way I see it (which isn't very straight atm, so bear with me) I could

1. Try to explain to him my lust luve adoration obsession appreciation of Martin and hope he doesn't freak out. or

2. I could (I can't believe I'm even thinking this) R r re rem remove all the Martin pics from the kitchen and bedroom walls, and say nothing.

ooooohoooooohooooooooh! Just thought of a third altenative......

3. Add a few pics of Shep, Sam, Daniel, and Teal'c tothe kitchen wall to make it look like a general 'Stargate' thingy........ put a padlock on my bedroom door and make it look like the guest room is actually my bedroom........ so he need never know

Option one, without a doubt. The other two are in fact based on hiding things which not good for a healthy relationship(you have to be honest in one that's important)..or even lies. I think if you come immediately(in this case) clean with it and be honest with it, it's better than him discovering it in another way...
Loving/liking martin is a part of who you are, so he better accept it...or he just isn't good enough for you (you can keep him for the un-PG things though...so every once in a while)

But this what I just all said is a cover for...I wanna hear the juicy story aftwards. *evil grin*

1. Show him the thread. Then he will know you're not the ONLY insane person with a huge crush on Martin (and then I can cyber!spy on him!)

2. Show him your posters very proudly! (so that he will think that it's not supposed to be weird)

3. Show him the posters in a VERY self-depricating manner (so that he will know that YOU know that it's weird )

4. Bring up the subject of playboy magazines...then introduce him to your playboy

5. Tell him the kids put them there
