I wasn't there, but from what I understand, it was an announcement of an announcement that will be made at San Diego Comic Con about the future of the franchise.

I am sure someone who was there can elaborate a bit more.

I think it's about the Stargate franchise. From what I understand it's about an SG-1 game/app, potentially. I honestly don't know anymore than that though.

The announcement was to do with a new app for phones/laptops etc, it will "take you into SGC" and you will be able to go and find out more about what happens in SCG and can go into different rooms etc. Sounds ok, at least something to keep "Stargate" going.

Had a great time with Laurie yesterday and more to happen today...gotta love holidays and meeting up with friends.

I did it! I managed to not only write my assignment today but get it in before midnight! I had to do it today because I didn't keep up with the work I had to do first with all the other stuff that's been going on. But hah! 1500 words of what I hope makes sense.

This morning I got my appointment at the hospital about my eyes - it wasn't really that helpful, tbh. He put local anaesthetic in my eyes, which felt really bizarre. But it doesn't sound like they can do much for me.

Mood: angry. Was grading papers today and eight - count 'em - eight of my students in seventh period cheated on an assignment. I had to turn them in to the academic dean and call parents. One parent had the nerve to suggest that his child didn't cheat, that it was merely coincidence that 11 answers were exactly the same as everyone else's and did he *admit* to cheating? *rolls eyes* grrrrrr.
