I am currently operating under the assumption that I will not make it to Canada until 2013, so I am applying for jobs like mad. I've submitted 2 applications to Planned Parenthood to do family planning and now for 2 interesting jobs in NW Washington, as well as out of hospital birth centers in Austin, TX and SoCal. We shall see if anyone bites. If I wanted to stay in NYC, I know I could call up one of the docs I used to work with and she would hire me into her practice for a great salary. I just worry about staying in the NYC 'factory' environment. It's time for me to spread my wings out of my comfort zone and grow up as a midwife. Here's hoping! Good juju appreciated!

I'm heading out in a couple of hours to see Andi get an award for excellence in IT give by the city, which is awesome. Then perhaps out with a friend. Or home to veg.

Hey no one told me not to think anymore! Gheez! Why didn't anyone tell me this. Look at all the effort I've been putting out doing that! Come on people (and WooHoos) you got to let a person know these things. Oops...there I go again. Stop that....no more thinking!

I don't have insomnia, except for over two weeks I've had a cold and this cough won't go away, and last night I didn't fall asleep until 6am and that's only because I gave up lying down, and opted to sit-sleep instead.

Just had a proud moment. I finished and uploaded my first, selfmade, professional site(thus for a company). Really cool to see it online. linkie...but site is in Dutch
It's not a 100% my style, but you have to work with what the client wants!

Serious enough to put me immediately back into the hospital (had only been out for about 6 weeks) and perform another surgery to correct the previous surgery error!

Thanks! That was the whole goal behind it. Make a simple site where you can easily find everything. Not too fancy or distracting but just a simple place to find the information on.
If it would have been up to me there would have been a lot more gadgets in it
