I'm pretty shocked it turned out so well. It's not perfect, but it's the first garment I've sewed in about 10 years, so not too bad.

Last day with the family before the uber roadtrip back to Victoria Lots of packing, and a tasty needle-sticking appointment in about ten minutes! I heart acupuncture!

Okay, here's the bustle skirt!

The rest of the outfit is black leather-look leggings and my Magnus boots (the other side shows more leg). The top is a white gibson-girl blouse with a B&W cameo at the collar and a black leather corset over the whole thing. Topped by that cute hat I bought a while back. Of course, I can't get into the outfit without a lady's maid and Andi is out tonight, so...

As for thr rest...er.. no idea what you just said... ok, well I got the leather and leggings bits and, unsurprisingly the corset, but not being a fashionista, the rest kinda made a whooshing sound as it passed me by...

I had the whole "it's been 100 days" thing going on in my head and it got me thinking about the episode with She Who Shall Not Be Named although I never really had a problem with Jack getting a bit of action with some other woman anyway, and quite liked her tbh and I was thinking what a load of old cobblers that was... I mean you don't just go "oh, that's it 100 days of mourning my husband, I'm done with that, on with my life then" The getting on with things is something you have to do from day 1, like it or not... and the mourning? Pah... try for the rest of my life. Every day. Every minute. It's just a big steaming pile of dog poo and I just want him back... mainly so I can kill him for bloody well dying on me.

I know. She's going to have to wait until about 1pm before I can pick her up though, as I never banked on the flight being early! I really should know by now that flights from the West nearly alwasy run a little early. I have to pick Benjabubs up from school first and, er, I should be working right now. Although, I've run out of plain paper so have had to close the office - such a hardship! I feel a bit like that woman from Come Fly With Me that kept having to close the coffee shop...
