Morning Woohoos and welcome to 2011! Sorry to disappoint with no amusingly drunken posts last night It was a hilarious new year's because I was at my sister's, and with baby James asleep upstairs we had to keep the volume down on the celebrations Whispering Auld Lang Syne was the funniest thing, I just about died laughing (quietly, of course)

Hope everyone had fun however and wherever they spent it! And massive congratulations to B on the birth of baby William! What a fabulous way to start the year Thanks for sharing the pic, Jann

Glad to hear you had a fun night, but very disappointed in the lack of drunken posts

Have to say though, being too quiet around sleeping babies isn't always a good idea. Sometimes they get too used to it and then the least little noise will wake them Better to get them used to a noisy environment then they'll sleep through anything

My neighbours decided to turn up the volume around 2.30am, to the point where my windows were vibrating Didn't bother me though, I still fell asleep and slept through to 9.30
