So I went to the garden centre today, primarily to buy seeds for my miniscule vegetable plot. I made enquiries about getting an allotment (there's a whole load of them about a minute's walk from me) but was told there's a 3 to 5 year waiting list for one! I wouldn't mind but I walk through those allotments all the time to go to the playing fields or the underground station and half of them are just weeds growing everywhere.

*sigh*
