Still, like LJ said, it's not really our business. I just feel a bit in limbo about it I feel we've got to know him and care about him, and it's a bit like a friend telling us that, but then shutting us out

As for Joe. It's his life...when he's ready to talk about it or whatever...he will...otherwise it's indeed none of our business!

(I don't hug my parents much either. Never have been the huggy types - which is odd because, actually, i love hugging people... in case you haven't noticed! )
*Huggles LJ for stoopid family* That is daft. I agree with Jumble that people don't think sometimes. My niece did this to us last Christmas - invited us all round for the usual boxing day gathering, only to get there and find her son had chicken pox. I know all us adults had had it, but Benjabubs hadn't and I had no desire for him to get it. I mean I know he will eventually but the least she could have done was call me and tell me so I could decide whether to expose him or not. Luckily (or not because perhaps better to get it over with) he didn't get it. I wouldn't dream of taking myself or my poorly child around other people's houses without at least forewarning them.
I live far too close to my parents but still tend to go there for Christmas every year. We did go through a phase of having them on our own or at sister-in-laws (before she moved) but mostly it's Christmas day at my parents. There's usually at least ten for dinner.
WB, Congrats on the 69 post!
Jumble, what's wrong with that shirt? I like that shirt. I'm sure I've mentioned but I used to have one just like it....

Cags yes, we've discussed the horrendous shirt before I think we agreed to disagree

Super Sekrit Challenge
Week 70
I only just realised that last week was Week 69! D'oh, we should have had a Woohoo challenge So here's one for this week to make up for it For our new GimPS, don't forget its a Secret Challenge, so no posting entries on the thread, just pm them to Jumble. We attempt to guess who made what when the challenge is posted
From Jumble
Birthday Stuff! It's Martin's Birthday on 19th January and I'd like to be able to print them out and send them in time
Please PM Entries for this Week's Challenge to Jumble
Cool that it's a Sekrit Challenge, because it means I can gather them all in time for the vid and to post them, but they'll still be new to everyone else when they're posted for The Birthday celebration
I actually made a set of Birthday brushes for PS that I am hoping to use for this challenge. Now if only I can find the time. Work gets in the way of so much.
*huggles all woohoos and runz off to get dressed for work*sigpic

*waves to Bree* Have a good day
Hmmmm.
I've just been looking at horoscopes and numerology forecasts, and had to smile at certain parts........
Spoilered for space
Spoiler:Your radiant good looks will attract admirers from every corner in July, and winning a special person's heart will be child's play this Summer.
This Summer, you'll have a rare opportunity to travel and study. Head for a glamorous and chic resort between June and September.
Sales, psychology, and graphic design are subjects you may want to explore as a means to climb the ladder of success.
You're one of those interesting women who may be confused by your own character. No one has any "in-between" feelings about you -- they either see you as very, very good or very, very bad! Either way, the LIMELIGHT is where you feel most at home.
Friends and family who are fond of you respect your talents and appreciate your compassion and willingness to help. They also admire your strength of character and positive, take-charge attitude. Some may admire your intense spirituality, and envy your unshakable faith that things WILL work out!
You're probably quite an attractive woman.
To those who know you, you're as solid as the Rock of Gibraltar! You're a 100 percent reliable and trustworthy woman.
You're quite a proud, brave and confident woman. At least, that's the impression you give to others. Even if on the inside you're a quaking bowl of Jell-O, the outside face you present is one of dynamic courage, independence and innovation!
Whoever coined the term "optimist," had you in mind, my friend! It's rare these days that one encounters a woman with as sunny an outlook on life as you have. There's no doubt about it: things get lively whenever you come round for a visit!

Oh Jumble, that horroscope is scary! Very, umm, you. Is Vancouver glamarous? I am sure yours and Sarai's presence will make it so.
And I don't generally believe in any of that stuff.
Having said that, I once had my tarot read. Actually my brother in law has done it a few times but he doesn't do fortune telling as such; it's more intuitive. This one time I did have it done at a psychic fayre though... she did acurately predict a few things - a pregnancy for instance, since I was pregnant at the time actually and didn't yet know it (for sure anyway - having IVF, obviously I had a pretty good idea I could be). I gave absolutely nothing away. I even took off my wedding ring and stuck on a big dress ring instead, and specifically told her I wanted some career advice. Other stff she said came to pass too. I sometimes wonder if those things happened because she said them and I subconciously made them happen or if she said them because they were going to happen... if that makes any sense.
Anywoohoo (copying Bekki - excellent! ) I do believe in the power of positive thinking. And negative. I think you can mentally influence yourself/others into behaving in certain ways with carfully places words and a bit of belief.
Afternoon Woohoos.... *Huggles all round*sigpic

I had a Tarot reading a few years back, did the same as you, gave her no clues at all, yet she accurately told me how many children I had, girls and boy in the right order, the fact that Suz is much younger than the other two, and a lot of other things that had happened which she couldn't possibly have known! I'm not a great believer in the daily horoscopes, but I do think there are people who have a gift for knowing things and seeing future events. At the time I was in a difficult situation which I didn't know how to resolve, and although she didn't tell me what I should do, she did convince me that I wood make the right decision if I just trusted my instincts, and she was right
That reading above seems to have a lot of things right, so maybe the predictions are right too!

But I did like the line about 'winning a special person's heart' (Not that I'd like to win it in 'that' way obviously, but it wood be nice to be noticed and liked a little )
*sigh*
Speaking of positive thoughts, we all need to send some of those in Sarai's direction. She's had a bit of a disaster today *hugs Sarai* (She's ok, not hurt or anything)
