They guy playing online poker – originally he was going to be surfing a ‘bikini’ site, but they changed it because so many of the SG crew are poker players. CJ hosts a big poker night about once a month.

Joe asks Martin: Are you a poker player?

Martin: Me? I’ve never been invited to those games.

Joe: What? That’s outrageous!

Martin: No, I have not, because of the amount of money I could rake in. None of them have deep enough pockets for that!

*giggles*

Joe: I want to make special mention of Christine Mooney (sp?) who basically heads our costume department on SG-1 and always does a wonderful job on the costumes, but I love what she did with Ba’al in this episode. The dark suit, dark shirt and that vibrant tie.

Martin: And at the end he’s wearing his own symbol.

Joe: In fact yes, he’s wearing a golf shirt with his own Ba’al symbol, and Paul (Mullie) to this day insists that he’s got to get one of those! He said maybe he should just go down to costumes and help himself. I actually wore a Ba’al costume to a con a couple of years ago and one thing that surprised me was how small Cliff Simon is.

(I guess that explains why the buttons are undone )

Martin: Oh, he’s a rake, and it’s all muscle too. You don’t want to punch Cliff Simon in the shoulder....

Joe: If anybody’s thinking about it!

Martin: You don’t wanna chuck him, ‘cause er, he’s fast like a Ninja and he’ll have your hand in a sec!

(Just for a moment, I thought he said $ex )

Oh, here comes the shippy bit

Joe: Now this is an interesting bit coming up, where she’s (Carter) describing what she’s been up to, and of course we know that they’ve (Carter and Barratt) had somewhat of, er, not a relationship, he’s asked her out a couple of times, and there’s something burgeoning there, pre-established.

Martin: So he asks her, and I love his reaction to that!

Joe: And of course he’s interested and he thinks well is there a possible opening?

Carter: Not exactly.

Martin: Oh, AND THE FANS GO WILD!!!!! They go WIIIIILD!!!!!!

Joe: In all honesty, er, that little exchange wasn’t there in the first draft. It was actually Robert’s (Cooper) suggestion, and I said well ok, but what does she mean by that? And he just kinda shrugged and said “Well I don’t know, we’ll just see, we’ll let it play”. So who knows what she’s referring to there? (said with a laugh)

Martin: So for those of you that actually bought the dvd and are listening to the commentary to find out exactly what she’s talking about, whether she’s talking about ‘You know’, or “You know” .....

Joe: Well personally, ah, maybe you don’t want to know what I think personally.....

Martin: Oh, they do!

Joe: Ok, I think personally that she’s referring to O’Neill and whether they’re dating or not... I mean it’s, er...

Martin: They’re sleeping together! They may not be dating, but they’re sleeping together, that’s for sure!

(*huggles favourite shippy Director*)


Joe: Wherever possible, we try to dissuade RCC from naming anything. He was responsible for naming the Furlings, and we’ve never been able to live that down! *giggles from Martin*

Martin’s commentaries are worth listening to just to hear him giggle

I'm just chucking snippets in here whilst transcribing it for the RT viewing It's easier if I get the interesting bits ready beforehand, because last time I found that by the time I'd typed out what was said, the rest of you were waaaaaay past the scene they were talking about

I absolutely HATE group work right now. I've worked my ass of the last few days to make around 30 graphs/tables etc. from the questionnaire and find some interesting ones in between to write on...I wrote more than half of them...so I ask my teammember if she can do the last three and she says that I should better finish it and she'll write the conclusion and read over it all...

FCOL...I shouldn't be doing everything in here...because at the same time for another subject I'm kicking the boys asses because the website has to be finished tomorrow and almost *nothing* is online yet...
