The 'Y' is on it, it's just a faded layer and bigger. Looks a lot more prominent when I open it in Gimp

How did you do that anyway?

I used a trial version of this program. Then I wrote the alphabet (caps and small), numbers 1-9 and some symbols (coma, quotes, etc.) on a piece of paper, clicked a pic of it, then imported the pic into Gimp. Then, I cut and pasted each letter/number/symbol into it's own image and imported each one into the space where it belonged. I think it's supposed to be simpler with PhotoShop.
