My central heating system has gone crazy again - all the radiators are blistering hot despite the fact that the boiler is turned off and the thermostat is set at zero It's happened before..... I think either this house is haunted or I have supernatural powers that I don't know about and have no control over

If you don't want that superpower, feel free to bung it my way My work is permanently freezing, so I'd kind of love the ability to make all the heaters pump out lots and lots of extra heat there.

Seriously though, hope the engineer can sort it out for you before you overheat Perhaps lay off on the Muskies rewatching until you've got a more stable temperature in your environment

Oh well, I tried. Best I could come up with. Need him to start posting again.

As for my left hand - it hurts some but healing nicely. The incision didn't fill in completely so the scar is definitely going to show but not a big deal. My hands are so scarred up now if won't really make a difference.

I thought you said your house was already haunted by the woman the goes from your house to the two neighbors house!!! Getting confused - not a nice thing to do to an old(er) lady!

A very nice engineer came and fixed it - the temperature control valve had stuck so had to be replaced - again

Yes, she's still around, but it seems an odd thing for her to do when she's never really interfered much before

Although the problem you had(and the way it was fixed) happens quite often at least a few times a week we(aka the engineers) have to change a few valves for customers...especially now the heating is starting to go on again

Nothing special going on in here...just a busy bee at work....my colleague is on vacation so I'm all alone in the office with waaaaay too much work. Keeps me busy. Positive side I got to hear that they start with building my house on November 16th.

Really? He said it was very rare for this particular valve to fail and he took awhile to source a replacement

Clover and Millie are now a year old, so for their birthday I bought them new winter quarters - they've grown so much over the summer that I really couldn't put them back in the little cage they had last year............
