It's practically spring here. Clear blue sky, sunny and not very cold.

Alright-ish. She's still in the hospital and bored.

Aw, poor Mom It's so hard to keep your spirits up when there's no end in sight *sends huggles and get well vibes*

He could always go and work as a zamboni.
I know he likes to drive around in circles for hours...

Edit: Woody just learned to ice-skate - he's not very good at it but did manage to avoid the lamp-post He'll be staying on the driveway for the foreseeable!

Ah, we actually had some ourselves this morning! Not a lot, an inch or so, but still, SNOW!!!

Ours had melted a bit by lunchtime, but is freezing again now. Some anonymous angel gritted the slippy bits of my road so I was able to drive my 3yr old to nursery and get back safely, which was handy because the two younger ones were already exhausted from walking to playgroup and back and I really didn't think they'd manage another long walk I don't work until 12.30 tomorrow, so hopefully it will have melted again by then *crosses fingers*

Well apparently it was a super bowl party for all our geese. Back to the original pair. Sure glad I don't have to clean up the mess.

We have rain (off and on) for the next week, slightly cooler temps but still a little warmer then normal. It will be (sadly) interesting to see how the world temperatures change over the next few decades unless we can reverse this trend. After that I will most likely be contemplating my toes or something as utterly interesting, taking lots of naps, and (if I still can) remember the 'good old days'. [or maybe reliving those days in my mind! ]

More of the white stuff and the temperature dropped. Got my car stuck in the driveway (actually hubby got my car stuck...man can't back out in a straight line to save his life )

I'm sick. A chest cold. Normally I would say that I prefer a chest cold to a head cold because head colds hang on forever and my sinuses stay all wonky forever after, but every time I cough I feel like someone is trying to push my eyes out from the inside. Ugh. Nyquil and TheraFlu help all my symptoms except the headache...my body hates tylenol, doesn't believe its a real drug. *sigh*

So my house is a wreck, we have company coming for lunch tomorrow, my niece's 2nd birthday party, and I've got band practice (the voice is iffy).

I've got about two hours to accomplish something then I'm off to coffee with a friend I haven't seen since school started. Can't miss our date despite the ick!

Got stood up today by our friends who were supposed to come for lunch today. The thing that irks me the most is that if they'd said they weren't coming, I'd have stayed in bed. Although, I did start my day with a hot bath and a book...pretty good way to start. Kinda wanna finish it the same way. *sigh* Off to band practice in an hour, my speaking voice is atrocious right now, but I seem to still be able to sing so long as I can avoid fits of coughing...should be fun . I'm really only going because we have three people auditioning tonight and I don't wanna miss it (I like being in the know )

May the weekend end on a better note than it began!
