Thanks "Nolamom" - was beginning to feel alone!

Glad you all had fun at the pool! Hope it's starting to cool down some. The US World news had a story about the "heat wave" in the UK! And then the same day they had a story on Top Gear (the UK show that is shown here)! Speaking of UK shows - has anyone heard of a show called Broadchurch? They are going to start running it 0n 8/7 and I wondered if it was good????

Oh Jumble - heard that Cedar Cove is suppose to start showing in the UK very soon! They have only shown 2 episodes here so far.

ps had given Amanda at LFCC an early birthday card (with a photo from the set tour saying thank for a great day) and instructions not to open it till her birthday. The next day she told me that she could not wait and had opened it and agreed after seeing the card (big smiley one and photo) that it was a great day

Yes, was a bit of a mess wasn't it? But hard to avoid with that many pairs of feet running around Becky really enjoyed it - I think she was a bit nervous about coming, but you made her feel very comfortable I think we'll definitely be back again before the holidays are through

it's a shocking mess but I don't care. So long as people had fun; it's just mess and will clear up easily enough. Glad Becky felt at ease. you know me and my make yourself at home mentality. I mean not literally; don't start decorating or anything. Actually, if it's the bedroom, do start decorating.
We will have to try and get time to do that again.

I didn't watch it (I don't actually watch much TV these days) but it was all over facebook and all my friends seemed to love it. I would second Claire and say give it a go.

I must admit, the reason I kept my cover up on all day was mostly to stop from burning. It doesn't keep the sun off completely but it works as well as suncream to limit exposure.
Although Benjabubs has a red line on his back where his top rode up and he hadn't pulled his bottoms up properly. Cue guilty mum here. It's not burnt though, just a bit pink (and will go brown I think). Still, we had a stern talk about why he must make sure he covers his bits up or wear suncream.

Has TSE really been 3 years? Time flies!

Easiest wood be to go to the app store directly on your phone, search for opera and then tap the install button.

I know I never go brown! Maybe your atmosphere is affected by your proximity to all those planes so the sun didn't burn me Whatever - I like having a bit of colour on my face, shoulders, decolletage etc - such a nice change from being allover pale

Indeed it has, and by the time Chevron 8.1 rolls around it'll be nearly four years since I've seen Martin - four years between hugs is waaaaaay too long!

Universal are doing a monster B-movie night - just watched Chuck Campbell doing battle with a Bigfoot-type creature up a snowy mountain in Deadly Descent, and now it's Colin Nemec in Sand Sharks, which involves... er... sand-dwelling sharks

Sorry Nola - I have absolutely no idea about installing stuff on a smart phone. I have no apps on mine, just use it as a phone and camera
