Aw LJ, no sad lonely ones here; it's not the Woohoo way. Never say never. Sometimes life has a way of making cool things happen for you.
Oh I do love playing their games. Jordan is right; they usually offer deals and whatever is on the table will depend on what's in their current retention package (I read a lot about this on the MSE forums). Sky didn't even try and negotiate anything with me when I told them I was leaving them (then again, I did also have to inform them that the person whose name the contact was in was deceased because it was one of those things I never bothered to do before now). BT, on the other hand, did at least try and match Virgin's offer with their own TV package.
I have just negotiated a new mortgage deal which will save me £24 a month. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a cheaper energy deal though, but I may ask my provider if they can check my tariff to ensure I am on the cheapest one with them.
Sadly, too many companies are more interested in new custom that retaining old ones. Makes no sense to me; surely you should look after both?
Indeed, and this counts for much.
So I finally saw Star Trek Into Darkness today... spoilering for those who haven't seen it yet.
Next movie on my "watch" list is Much Ado About Nothing - I am ridiculously excited about that.
