The car is damaged, but fixable. The side airbags deployed, so I'll probably be in the rental for a few weeks.



I'm doing way better than I expected thanks to motrin, some anti-inflammatory herbs, and a whole lot of TLC.

What kind of car did you get?

A Honda CRV. Needed something big enough for all the family and friends I haul around.

My beloved lappy is all packed up ready to go back to Toshiba for repair

*sigh* The Big Bad Man just came and took my precious lappy And I really hate the one I'm using - can't get used to the smaller keyboard, it has no number pad and the the screen is tiny

1. The accident was technically my fault because I was making a left turn. It doesn't matter that the woman was speeding and talking on her phone because there is no way to prove it other than the amount of damage to my car. Everyone has been surprisingly nice about the whole thing saying that since we were both from out of town, neither of us really knew how dangerous that intersection is. Ant TBH, in the end, no one was hurt which is all that really matters. And yeah, the auto body peeps were fantastic.
