Stayed up way too late last night making Secret Santa goodness. My what fun! Now I'm going to be like James and need a nap today. I'll be a good baby though and not cause a fuss.

Sarai, I agree with the buggy walk if he won't settle in his cot - alternatively a little trip in the car often works

You may just find that because he's not in his usual environment, he simply won't want to nap, or will want to nap at a different time. Just do your best to stay calm and not worry about it, because he'll know if you're stressed and become stressed himself
