Lovely thread memory Jumble! I can't wait to read more of those! So many things I've heard ever since I came in here, but wasn't here when it happened...

I don't have a lot of thread memories myself, except this: You are all an awesome bunch and I love every single one of you! Even when I have no time for GW, I come here, because I can't not come on here at least once a day, even if it's only to lurk and read. *hugs you all* I can't wait to meet many of you at AT6 in 13 months. Thank you again for the warm welcome! I was so shy to come in here, you have no idea!

Really? o.o I've been told that French was really hard to learn, and ever harder to talk. Because we don't write it the way we pronounce it.



I never had trouble with English... except when I mix some spellings with the way we spell it in French, but I'm getting better, ha.

I didn't find French that hard to learn, but it was so long ago that I've forgotten most of it

I'm not one for sentimental posts, but...
*breaks down and cries*

Way back when we thread oldies were still watching Stargate in black and white and listened to audiocommentary in mono sound on vinyl, being PTB crazy was a bad thing. Whenever we praised them, there was bound to be a post somewhere along the road saying something along the lines of ''I still blame TPTB for...''.
WooHoodStock changed that. We paved the way. We became the subject of many a song and poem. We started a revolution.

Of course we're the only ones crossing the road. We write our own lyrics and poetry.
...And the revolution halted when we started smoking broccoli.

But still.

A lot has happened since the start of WooHoodStock.

Well, I can't remember what *exactly* happened, but I'm sure it has been awesome.

Ok, serious attempt this time...

What I like about this thread is that we're a little cult, in the nice sense of the word
I know that it's easy to feel that way about a thread you frequently visit, but having been around ( yes, I said it. I've had others.) I now know that feeling safe somewhere isn't something that happens just by posting somewhere. Most of us have been Shippers and/or still are and back then, it was 'us vs. the anti's'. Don't get me wrong, it was lots of fun, but I love the way that this thread is relatively open. We can show love for conflicting ship pairings (even if they're just not as pretty as mine ), we can doubt PTB decisions without ranting that it makes them evil and stinky.No ne cares if you're nekkid or wear mittens.
I also appreciate that we're able to have silly convo's without going off topic. (OK, that was a joke )

I like that most of us keep in mind that a lot of wonderful things we see on screen starts with whatever TPTB come up with. There's so much that you see on TV without actually seeing it. TV isn't magic. It's hard work by loads of people you only get to see if you're lucky and I'm glad that there are people who take their time to appreciate that part as well. It makes watching so much more fun! So. Thanks for being here WooHoos!

It's so much more interesting than just flailing/squeeing over something! (Not that I don't squee sometimes because I DO, but you know what I mean, right?)

Nothing wrong with squeeing

It is nice, because knowing the hows and whys of the bts goings-on gives us a much rounder view and deeper understanding of what appears on our screens, which adds lustre to the whole thing
