All this memory-lane-ing is making me sad I was so late to the fandom-party! While y'all were TSE-ing last year, I was in Vancouver at a baby-catching conference with NO IDEA about all this cool stuff. *sigh*

ETA: I was just packing up to go home from said trip. If I'd known about TSE, I totally would have stayed on the extra weekend!

This time last year we were in Vancouver...we'd met Martin, had many hugs, gazed into Chris H's eyes, listened agog to Amanda's awesomeness and heard Damien and Robin sing a duet

And this time last year today I was whale watching and having a fabulous time making lots of random friends and not being at all seasick as I was worried I wood be

You and me both. I am sneaking in a break so I can express a feeling I have.....AT6 - earlier part of 2012 and TSE2 - fall of 2012. And somehow, I will attend them both even if it takes every penny I have.....well maybe not that much....but I really want to go! And maybe for TSE2 we can have a little extra time to see Vancouver in the cold fall (which I'm use to so no big deal - and your UK weather should make you feel at home as well!)

Now - we need the GABIT people to let us know!

Is it pessimistic for me to say that I think there'll only be a TSE2 if Sanctuary gets picked up for a 5th season by SyFy? Fingers heavily crossed, but with skiffy, you never know.

I have to say Laurie, I have my fingers crossed for the summer of 2013 for TSE2 and maybe late September next year for AT6. If TSE2 is next year then I won't be able to go need time to save!!

If there is one, to be sure! At this point, I'm not 100% certain about AT6. I want to go. But it will depend on the date since I am presuming that I will be starting with a new practice in Van in June 2012. It will all hinge on the date and how broke I am or am not at that time.

Yes it is I think they'll still have TSE2 regardless - mainly for all the money they can raise for S4K, but also because if Sanctuary ends with S4 they'll be launching a new show anyway and will want to keep all their fans on board

I'm still rooting for 2012, I really don't want it to be 2013

I think, for me, financially 2013 would be better. But that's just for me and I'd rather you all got to go and have fun. I do think there'll be a Season 5. Unless something disastrous happens during S4... But then I'm a bit of an optimist

I think Amanda is attending so many cons this year because she can With only 13 eps for S4 she's got a lot more time to campaign for S4K

Too bad but I'm sure there will be another and by then you'll be in Vancouver so you will be able to attend for sure.

I know how you feel, I sometimes lament all the early cons I missed with AT, MS and CJ. All the early Gatecons seem to have been a lot of fun. I was not aware of those at the time. I was aware of Avalon and AT2 and wish now I would have attended.

I believe that TSE2 will be in 2013 at the earliest. I'm happy to wait if it means you can come.

I'd rather wait so you can come too! maybe they should have one every year just so everyone can make it at some point (that sound you hear is the G4 keeling over )
