Cags. I'm glad the weeekend went as well as it could. That car! I'd be jealous but it's better that you had it!

Jumble Poor Martin. But that is an impressive amount of awards and Martin is a huge part of the reason why they have so many!
Oh I know, and he'll be happy for Sanctuary to have been nominated and hopefully win a few No disrespect to Steven Adelson, but if there's a Director Award I want Martin to have it

And... happy birthday to your "baby" *hugs*
Thanks Does remind me that I therefore can't still be 25 though

Oma - good luck with your move!

Hopefully the oven will get fixed today. I have to say, we miss it. Especially since most of the food we have left requires the oven! Roll on this afternoon/evening for the Mr Repair Man to turn up.
*sends speedy vibes to Mr Repair Man*

Aw Jumble I am disappointed too but Martin does get a nom for being a producer so he's not completely left out. Still, like you I wood love to see him recognized for his directing talents. When I look at some of my faves it's usually Martin who directed them.

        Aw! So sweet

Happy b-day Suz (PS Jumble, women of a certain age can choose any number they want and stick with it for as long as they want and therefore you are 25.

I am stealing borrowing Wendy's post because it was good and I am lazy

I am in a good mood. I bought a web cam. Now all I have to do is figure out how to set it up and use it and then get SKYPE and figure out how to set it up and use that too. Piece of cake.

In reality, I woodn't really want to be 25 again. I'm probably now the most contented and trouble-free as I've ever been in my life - I just don't like the number

Skype is easy to set up - then you just have to make sure we all have your contact so we can wake you up in the middle of the night

Big congrats to the Sanctuary family on all the nominations.

It is odd IMO that MW didn't get a nom for directing.

Thanks to Pengyn, SamJackShipLover and Mala for the sig.

Which episode would you have picked for a nomination for him (she asked out of curiosity)?

                  2. I wood not want to be 25 again either. I like 33 but with my current knowledge.
                  3. It's nice to be in a good mood. Char is working and happy, my dad is keeping a positive attitude in his battle with cancer and the black and blue (and purple and yellow...) from breaking my nose is almost entirely gone now and my sternum is healing nicely too so I am happy.
                  4. There is about a 5 hour difference between us isn't there? If I recall correctly you go to bed while my evenings are just getting started so I could contribute to your sleepless nights as well. With Char not getting home until 11:00 in the evening it leaves me with a lot of time on my hands.....

If I had to pick it wood be Kali 3. In fact, it was our neighbors (the ones we have gotten addicted to Sanctuary) that said the entire Kali arc could have been released as a movie in theaters because it was so good. They are huge SG1 fans and had never seen Sanctuary before so that is a big compliment.

                      *crawls in*

                      *falls down*

My feet hurt, put new shoes on today(with heels) and we had a firedrill...not only did I need to walk down the stairs for 10 floors and then into the basement area etc. We also had to walk around the building and parking deck, and we're in the widest office building in Atlanta. Now I have three blisters and still have to walk the rest of the day on these shoes!

At least I had a review with my supervisor after this and they're very happy with me. Apparently especially my analytical skills, that I look at details and that I see the bigger picture and am not just focussed on one thing and then forget the rest.

Now off to catch up on the thread

                      *huggles woohoos in advance*

Oma good luck with the move! I'm sure it will go okay!

Yay for Sanctuary and all the nominations! I also hope they win at least one! Poor Martin for no directing nomination though There should be an overall directing award; I'm sure he would win it!

Anywhoo, Char stared work today, dad is feeling good (still waiting to find out if they will do surgery yet) and I am almost entirely healed so all in all a pretty good day.

Their labor and delivery is so nice. 5 labor rooms and TWO triage beds. ~ 750 births per year, from what I have been led to believe. Sure beats our 8,000! (We have 11 labor rooms (we need abotu twice that) and 7 triage rooms.)

Trying to have a productive day off. Ran this morning, interview, food shopping. A few more errands to go then I am tucking up with The Little Princes. Seriously the most engaging work of non-fiction I have read to date. I'm alternating between goosebumps and bawling my eyes out. I HIGHLY recommend it.
