Hey, I like Will/RD - he's a really nice guy. I've Skyped with him and really enjoyed the conversation. He's still young, which is his only "flaw" although I am sure most of the younger woohoos wouldn't agree with that. As for the character Will - he is one of the few "normals" so it does limit his role some, but I like the character of Will as well. He started out being this shy kid and is growing (that is his character is growing). You just need to give him a chance.

Ok...."younger" member speaking up in here; I actually like Will. I think he's an interesting character, but in general after the first half of S1 they did't develop him that much. At the end of S1 I was almost sure that James Watson was his father/grandfather but in the end they never mentioned anything about it...(perhaps because I was wrong but still )
It is what you say, it is harder to develop him, as a "normal" human, than the others, but I still like him....

Morning all!

Up bright and early for some yoga. It's 6:30 and getting light out, which means early morning runs are back! Woo! Tomorow. Busy clinic with the midwifery students today, should be fun.



I think the Will fangirls tend to run to the under 25 set. No tomato throwing! I mean, what's under his shirt is pretty, but I'm still kind of bored by Will/RD. *ducks*

Trust me, what's under a guy's shirt mght be nice, but that alone isn't going to hold my interest for long

I'm sure RD is perfectly nice, but Will. Well, see above. By season 3, he's been given a chance, but just hasn't done anything to really wow me. Including the Bollywood dancing. I mean, I'm sure it was difficult, but his whole 'Kali' story just didn't really interest me. I was far more interested in the politicking of the Sanctuary network.

Ah, here we differ then. I loved the Kali/Big Bertha side of the story and tbh, over the three Kali eps plus Firewall, I was starting to think I'd misjudged Will and he was finally looking interesting. But then in Bank Job he didn't shine, nor in Trail of Blood (for me anyway), so I'm back wondering what it is about him that puts me off

I guess at the very least, he's got us talking about him

I also don't think of Will as being that young. He's either a psychiatrist or psychologist (TPTB need to get that one straight, lol) with quite a bit of experience which means he's got to be in his 30s at least. I think RD is around my age, which makes him a full-fledged grownup, or should at any rate.

Oooh. Didn't mean to turn this into an anti-Will post. And your like of him is totally legit Laurie. Just more of him for you.

Oh, I don't think anyone is being 'anti' Will, just not quite as 'pro' Will as others may be. Which is fine

I mean, not everyone here loves Martin.......... some WooHoos love other PTBs more.......... but that's ok..........

Declan has certainly grown on me, but I woodn't call him awesome....... yet Robert is great fun, yet another really nice guy I think maybe being super-nice is a prerequisite for anyone working on Sanctuary

Note to Oma, how Char is doing is a long story. I have refrained from posting it here as we are both trying not to put the cart before the horse. It's enough to say that she could use prayers, good vibes and anything else that is positive that you can toss her way.

Hmmm! My timing is off again. Oh well, some comments that can't be argued (until after I'm gone)! wait, that doesn't sound right

Anyhow, both Will and RD need some maturation (yes I know they are the same person). Very common in the male species. Usually happens once the get married and settled down (by a good woman)! And NO JUMBLE - this isn't male bashing....it is an observation I have made from many many years of walking on this planet! Declan/Robert is more mature but then he is English right.....! Hee hee - makes a whole lot of difference!

Oh and to set the record staight (no pun intended!) - I love the male species. Usually, they are not always overly complicated (and yes there are exceptions) but they are fun to have around, talk to, cuddle with, etc and just all around enjoy being and spending (a lot) of time with!


But the "FEMALES" OF OUR SPECIES ROCK!!! - and again, no overtones of any sort meant here!

Plus even more important - the fact is, SANCTUARY also really ROCKS! And deep down, I love it ALL!

Now, on to important things...it is a beautiful day, cold but beautiful. It is 36F (2C) here [and 37F/3C in Vancouver] - but the sun is out, no clouds anywhere and a perfect day to bundle up and go for a walk. So, see you all (or only me) later!

I quite like Will and liked his Kali story line, and thought his wth-I'm-a-bank-robber-now sort of jarring-ness worked quite well - he's pretty straightlaced so to be pretending to be bank robbers was weird, I don't know I thought it kinda worked jmo

I totally agree Laurie. Guys are awesome in the way that they are not complicated at all! I love that. Sometimes I prefer it a lot more to hang out with guys than with girls! So much easier!

As for the Will/Kali storyline; it threw me off a bit. I didn't like it that much and found the struggles within the Sanctuary network more interesting.
I found the Kali thing a bit vague, but I don't completely blame that to Will...just not my favorite storyline!
Oh well...different people, different preferences!
