I hope any newcomers/well-wishers don't mistake our apparent high spirits for insensitivity. When my mom died, I would come here and everyone would be having a wild time and trying to cheer me up with picspam and whatnot, and even though I was still in anguish I would find myself smiling. That's all we're trying to do...

I second that. When I lost Michael I found it really distressing that the thread was so sad. I really wanted everyone to be silly and make me smile, and I know that Cags feels the same. We love her and hurt for her, so much so that we can be silly for her because we know that's what she needs us to do
