so tired of thinking. wish I could shut off my brain. wish I could sleep for days and days and not think about anything at all.
there are people out there who don't care about anything or anyone except maybe themselves. I wonder what life is like for those people. wonder if it's any easier for them

    *hugs*

    Aw Bree *huggles*

Don't envy those people, they don't know what it is to care and be cared about. I too wish I could switch off my brain sometimes, but then I realise that I woodn't be me and I wood miss the good as well as the bad. That's no way to be. Really, it isn't.

    How is Dad doing?

*huggles Bree tightly* and as cool as it sounds to shut of your brain...it's not good either.
        *hugs Josi for busy week*

And I've just decided that Dutchies aren't greedy....because neither Nad or I have asked for "the Quilt"...we're so nice

          Haha, true.
That, or Dutchies have ...other ways to feel better?
Being original is difficult when you can't stop quoting your favorite tv show, For crying out loud!

That's only because you've been too busy having fun to be sick!

              Sorry things are bad

If it helps, life isn't easier when you're selfish. From what I've seen, those people usually are really, really annoyed and cranky because other people don't do what they want them to do...
(((NAd))) Good point. I don't want to be jerk. Just want shut down for awhile but there is no chance of that happening anytime soon.

Another good point. Y'all need to quit hitting me over the head with logic.
Dad is in good spirits. Everything else is up in the air. He will go in for some tests as soon as he's a little stronger. The waiting is hard. The not knowing is hard. The projecting is hard and hard not to do.

I am at the store until 8:00 and it's a slow night so too much time to think about dad, about Char and the job situation and trying to figure out how to make the budget work, about Mario selling the little store and me training the daughter of the guy buying it, too much time to think about the fact that on October 31 I will officially have zero medical insurance, too much time to think about how badly I wanted to go to England next year and how it's looking like that won't happen. *sigh*
Like I said I wish I could shut down for a bit. On the other hand October is almost over and since it royally sucked maybe November will be awesome.

If I had the strength I'd wrestle Sarai for the quilt but, nah, all my energy (such as it is) is being directed at looking after the drama queen who is still dying husband and my little man (who has chosen today to be particularly messy/lively), and praying to the porcelain god.

But you all cheered me up so that's good.

Heeeeee. Got my train tickets booked. They were cheaper than I thought they'd be considering how far it is, really. It takes about four hours to get to Jumble's from where I live, apparently
