We have "carnival" in the Netherlands in February too and as much as I love it, I hate dressing up for it. I just go as drunk me all the time

But it's not just the dressing up it's the excuse to throw a wild er nice party. I remember going to them in college and well never mind.

The costume is just an excuse to "party". In college I went to Halloween parties, toga parties, pajama parties (very strange costumes for that), which prof you loved/hated the most, favorite (fiction) character, and even just party parties. While I was in college they didn't need excuses, there was one almost every weekend on Saturday!
Friday was the "big" game night so then there was the pre, during and post cocktail parties. Hmmmm did I really drink that much.

Re bolded: Exactly...why do you need an excuse to party? We already party every Friday and Saturday insanely!!!(as you've heard from some of my stories ) so why dressing up.
I get that it is fun for some, but I'm just not one of those. Plus the money you probably have to put in a custome you only wear once...not worth it...

I'll go as Eve....from Adam and Eve... or in a term that you all understand:I will go as a Woohoo: Nekkid.

James is officially utterly adorable!!! I had lots of lovely cuddles, and played with him in his babygym He was more awake today than I've seen him, and the first time I picked him up this time he was really looking at me as if seeing me properly for the first time, and assessing me and learning who I was And my sister looks amazing, she's back in shape already and looks fantastic! I gave him an extra huggle from the Woohoos too *squishy huggles them both*

OK, now back to Woohoo matters...

I am also guilty of not yet having PSed anything for Joe It's been a bit of a busy week, I've had no time to PS at all really Hopefully I'll get a minute before Sunday
