Jumble - loving the reposts This has inspired me!

Vangroovy will Groove To Your Heart

    Where is Vangroovy
    In Canada, eh?
    Wherefore Canadia?
    What time of day?

    Who is Vangroovy
    to make it so gay?
    Where van? Wherefore groovy?
    Why so far away?

    Alas, there is truth
to be found from the start
    Vangroovy is nowhere
    except in your heart

    Vancouver, a city
    Vangroovy, a sense
    A feeling, emotion
    A love, so intense

    Wherefore Vangroovy?
    Why not, tis our cry!
    Why be but Vancouver
    when Groovy is nigh?

    Vancouver, a city
    Vangroovy, a role
    the Groovy Vancouvers
    its way to your soul!

(I don't think that poem made any sense...)

Just had an unexpectedly awesome day hanging with my friend Jimmy who always makes me feel like a million bucks, though it's the first time he's seen me without glasses and he didn't recognize me at first! LOL. Then went to see Inception (which was frakking awesome) with my roommate. Now back at home with some amazing wine and thinking about food. Hope all the WooHoos had a lovely day.

Loved the odes Jumble and respected authors! I didn't realize that I was mistaken in giving hugs rather than huggles! *blush* n00b error. I believe this is a huggle?

I will remember these! Also, why isn't RDA a PTB? Wasn't he an EP on SG1?

      (((((((((Woohoos))))))))))
Nono, you weren't mistaken! There are different levels of hugs - you can give hugs, huggles, squishy hugs, squishy huggles or tackle huggles, depending on your mood and the moods of your hug recipient. I'm sure Oma put a proper description/use list somewhere..............

Oh dear! Let's not start up the 'RDA is a PTB' dispute again - not until Wednesday at least

Ah the cleansing power of tears. Isn't it funny that we have to feel so bad in order to feel good again? Sometimes I think life likes to remind us that the bad times exist t make the good times taste sweeter.

Too deep for a Monday morning?

              Oh maybe.

              Wibble wibble... how's that instead.

She did, I am sure. And if she didn't you can bet there'll be one now. Incidently, hugs and tackle-hugs seem it be interchangeable between here and the Sam/Jack ship appreciation thread, but there's only one place on Gateworld you can get a huggle or a squishy huggle, and that's right here.

*taps foot impatiently waiting for Wednesday*

MOB, it's really just a joke thing. I think the thing is, people on GW appreciate RDA for all sorts of reasons but not really for his creative input into the series. AT, however, well she too gets thunked elsewhere but here we appreciate her for her creative abilities too...

...Or it might just be because RDA has lots of love to go round and you can never love AT too much...

... or...er... something like that...which is really my way of saying we don't really know; it's just the way it is in the Woohoo house.

First became "famous" when he was on the show Men Behaving Badly which was hilarious and a big part of my childhood TV (I know, bad parents ) and now he does a show called Doc Martin which is also quite popular over here. So if you like him I'd check those out. Although you probably have to have a certain sense of humour to find MBB funny. I love it. Not entirely sure what that says about me...but then I was weaned on a diet of Blackadder, The Brittas Empire, Red Dwarf, Allo Allo, Fawlty Towers, Dad's Army, The Young Ones...the list goes on
I don't know what this says about me either because I thought Men Behaving Badly was quite funny also, if not over the top occasionally. They tried to make an American version of that....total failure. There are some things that just don't translate and as you say, not for everyone. I loved Black Adder too!! But I also like As Time Goes By, Vicar of Dibley, Chef! and Keeping Up Appearances among many others.

                  Me too!!!

And it was actually LJ that listed the different types of hugs, for Michael when he popped in around this time last year.......

A huggle is more enthusiastic than a normal hug, but not quite as intense as a squishy hug. For the uninitiated, a squishy hug can be quite overwhelming. Quite simply, a huggle is a hug with a bit of snuggling thrown in to express extra joy, delight, or sympathy. A huggle can be given on a happy or sad occasion. A squishy hug is almost always a happy event; much like an enormous bear-hug, it is hard to be a part of a squishy hug and not come out happier.

I've been trying to figure out what's wrong with my email server It's slowly dawned on me that I haven't had more than one or two emails per day for the last week or so, and no junk-mail at all which is very odd Somebody hand my Siler's wrench
