Ok, thanks for the advice. I've put the question out to the wider group on the SE thread as well. Just interested to see what people think although I'm pretty much decided on taking an SG print.

RE the bolded...I think that's a great idea. It will certainly be a talking point for Martin

I did consider taking the insert from the Teenage Space Vampires dvd and getting Martin and Robin to sign, but I'm not sure how they'd take that They refer to it as 'The Movie That Shall Not Be Named' so I'm not sure if it wood be a source of embarassment for them or if it wood make them laugh

I would like to take this moment to sharem y love for Robert C. Cooper from my new shiny laptop It takes some getting used to. I'd forgotten how tricky they are when you start using them...like boys...

But it is nice to have shiny new boys toys to play with

So I went to get my nails done Took me a few minutes to convince her that they were real. She thought I'd come to get false nails removed because she'd never seen real ones that long before I didn't think they were that long

Here's the result......

She put loads of oil and stuff on them and shaped them up before she painted them. It was nice to have someone else do it for a change

As for making it on the shipthread I kinda often forget to look at my postcount...I think someone should remind me of it every now and then!



and ARGH...our power is going on and off for the last 2 hours now and our alarm system is now also on the fritz... Really helps that I don't have a phone to call with except home phone but that one doesn't work without power And I didn't had the code for our alarm first(I forgot it)
Ugh.

Luckily I've got a guy stuck on my room handyman from dad's work here to fix my sink so he borrowed me his phone

To all that suggested it, I am not quite ready to try acupuncture yet. I know I am being silly but I still can't get past the whole "letting someone stick a bunch of needles in your body" thing. I'm funny that way.

Loving all of the Coopie art but I have had no time to do any PS work lately. Am I still allowed to come to the party?

So, tomorrow I have to go to NY and there is no getting out of this one. The owner of the Valdo Prosecco winery invited us to a private lunch at Mario Batali's restaurant. It seems that we managed to sell over 40 cases of Valdo Prosecco last year (more than anyone else) and he wants to show his appreciation. For a shop as small as ours 40 cases of anything is huge and when you compare those numbers to a big place that didn't even move an entire case in a years' time, it's kind of like an ant trying to roll a boulder uphill and succeeding!

It should be nice and this time the drive is only about an hour and a half so that shouldn't be too bad. I wish I could take pictures for y'all but that wood be frowned upon. I will try to get in here this weekend and let you what the actual lunch menu was because I have no idea at the moment.

Bree I totally understand about the acupuncture - I'm needle-phobic so I wood be pretty scared if I had to do it - but even so with the effect these migraines are having on your life if it was me I think I'd have to try it. But obviously it's up to you, and you do have some doctor's appointments lined up already so I guess wait and see what they bring forth

Of course you can still come to the party! I haven't done any PSing for weeks I seem to have a total mental block on artwork atm You'd have thought, woodn't you, with all the new pics and footage of Martin on the S2 dvds that I'd have had masses of inspiration? But no It's just not working for me. I think I'm just hung-up on the fact that I'm going to meet him two weeks from tomorrow () and can't concentrate on anything else!

I am not very fond of needles either. I used to have to have injections on a regular basis when I was a child and I think it traumatized me for life. You're right about the appointments. One is specifically to address the headaches and she (my doctor) has a very holistic approach to medicine in addition to being a traditional MD so we'll see what happens.

I imagine I wood be in a constant state of nerves if I were going to meet Amanda so I can understand your lack of PS mojo. I haven't done anything in PS either. I haven't had much time for myself and I haven't been inspired either. I actually never got past the Japan extra in S2 of Sanctuary. That, quite literally, is the only thing I managed to watch. I still haven't watched any othet extras or any eps with commentaries. I am planning on taking S2 with me when we go to Disney World in September so maybe I will be able to catch up then.
