Evening all *waves*
Jumble I love the jumblified version - the colouring is fun and vibrant. Glad to see you're getting a little PS mojo back even if you don't think so.
Keeping everything crossed for Andy, LJ

I mean, if you're gonna do it, at least be sober enough to remember it
Apparently the UK is in for a heatwave with average temperatures up to 39C and running right into the middle of SeptemberGuess who'll be hiding indoors for the next few months
And they're changing the rules about flying through volcanic dust clouds (who knew there were any rules?), so that fewer flights will have to be cancelled. Good news for those of us planning an important trip abroad in July! But I am sorry for those of you that need to hide from it
. As those of you who've met Dave know he can't take any sun at all! *huggles pale skinned folks*
As per the Ash - I'm slightly more concerned about the BA cabin crew strikes which have been postponed. You watch - they will schedule them for the end of July*crosses fingers*
*glares at Oma*
That is all.sigpic

Oma, the spidey vid didn't help. Just can't imagine touching a spider without a shoe on. Squish.
Cags, glad someone understands the whole FB hide or remove option. Except I can't find the hide button. I only had to remove someone once and because he twisted everyone's words into a world against him issue. Then he would complain, was vulgar and didn't respect anyone's opinion but his own. I learned that I didn't like the guy and didn't need to be subjected to that stress. Didn't realize that I would be able to read his nasty notes about me for a day thanks to FB sending them to my e-mail.
I would love to have sunshine here, the clouds and rain are so depressing.sigpicI used to trek amongst the stars, now I gate to them

Bring on the sunshine as far as I'm concerned! But I am sorry for those of you that need to hide from it

Literally within a couple of hours of him going a huuuuge slug turned up in my kitchen *shudders* and then a massive spider on the stairs up to the attic room (. I swear they can smell my fear.

Not as big as in Australia - I was so scared of seeing a huge spider when I went there last year, I was completely paranoid checking everywhere all the time (particularly when I went to the loo). I was very relieved that I only saw one really big one, and it was both stationary and outside where I could quickly move away from it!

Thanks for allowing me to blow off some steam. Now I am too mad to go to sleep.
EDIT - My friend just deleted the "other" friend's post about the idiot book. I still saw it though.
Originally posted by Bekki View PostOoh, I have a story for youI told you all I've been watching Dr Who, because my attractive friend lent it to me...well, he made me promise not to watch a particular episiode by myself. It's the season 3 episode Blink, for anyone who follows Dr Who. He said it was too scary and needed to be watched with company in the middle of the night. ..........It's a friend of ours' birthday tomorrow, and we are all going out for a good drink or ten tomorrow night, and Eamonn (my attractive friend) asked if I wanted to watch Blink with him after the party...
Now...not only will it be the middle of the night, presumably in my house with no one else there, but I will also be DRUNK??? Oh dear...oh dear indeed...:0
will keeo you all postedSeriously, DO NOT WATCH BLINK LATE AT NIGHT! Seriously. I'm not kidding. It is absolutely terrifying and will keep you awake. Watch it with someone else, when it's daylight, and when there are many hours for you to get over it before you go to bed. But as Oma says, it's an amazing episode, absolutely brilliant

Good news for those of us planning an important trip abroad in JulySorry for those of you who don't, but I say bring it on! Especially as I missed last year's heatwave due to the aforementioned trip to Australia (where no-one believed me when I told them the UK was having a heatwave - they all just laughed and said 'what, it's 20 degrees'? Flaming Aussies
*huggles Bekki*
And on the planes thing, good news about the ash but I'm worried about the strikes too, as I'm due to fly to the States at the end of June
*crosses fingers for all of us with BA flights booked*

I always understood that it was the little Aussie spiders that you need to worry about. The ones that hide in your clothes if you leave them lying around and then attack your flesh................
I'm sure Canada woodn't have anything that nasty for us to worry about
No, seriously............
Personally, I'd never watch any DT Dr Who eps late at night. He's enough to give me nightmares just being himself
