Finally got some strawberries to grow in Fv without withering and dying! This was only my 10th attempt and the reason I am up so late.
Now I can go to bed knowing I won't awaken to dead crops.

My PS mojo was missing for awhile, but then I watched NCIS and SG1 back to back, looked at my husband (his hair is greying/whiting) and said Silver Fox, and thought that I would make a sig like that.

Just finished watching Bones.....they are hot, melting hot. I agree with you....if this series ends without them getting together....I will have an explosive melt down.

I saw the coming attractions for next week....didn't see anything about a pretend marriage. That's okay....I'm cool with that.

Yup, don't look anything like my profile pic because my dog is actually cute...while I...well...let's just say Jann's laptop screen almost broke on Wednesday.

I wish I had my camera today when my dog was all curled up in my blanket and she just looked *way* too cute for me to move. I'm such a softie when it comes to them. :/

As for my thoughts about Bones...

Spoiled for Bones and for a major rant (which Amanda has already heard)...

Sorry, but NOT the best writing. At all. He/they did a great disservice to the growth and change that Brennan has been experiencing this season. It was worse than the "leave it in the room" thing, cuz the characters, as he has written them, are ready for the relationship and I feel like he's just messing with us at this point. And I don't feel that way about PTB! I also don't think that Booth, after being so careful and patient, would suddenly spring it all on Brennan. Bad call. Excellent acting on everyone's part, as always, but...yeah... It was very 200. You know? "Let's show the wedding, but make it fake!" It felt like, "Let's have the kiss so we have something to draw in viewer for the 100th ep! But then we'll yank B and B apart again so we can save the REAL getting together for the season finale!" (I don't know if they're getting together in the season finale, it just seems like something this set of PTB would do these days.) I always said if they were going to get BB together, they would have to do it very carefully. And they were doing a good job, IMO, until now. How Booth approached it showed zero understanding of Brennan's personality, which we know he has, but it wasn't written into that scene! I think they can get the characters together and be okay, but they have to continue to do it carefully. Please stop writing stuff that OOC! I think it can be done. And done well. Especially with the actors we have playing BB!

I feel like the 100th was a gimmick, unworthy of past writing and the characters that have been carefully constructed over 5 seasons.

And just to quote APA (I hope she doesn't mint), cuz she says it better than me, and in fewer words:

He (Hart, the writer) sacrificed character to create an artificial conflict for the purpose of drawing out the ust.
