Thanks for the huggles everyone. It freaked my parents and I (obviously) out a bit We're going to be a lot more sure to lock the car doors and the house doors and things now. And maybe my parents won't be to annoyed when I say I want to go with them when they run errands. You know though...it was in broad daylight! My dad also made a point that the 4 guys that did that, since they were in a youth home they might have had prior records so they might not even be going back once they get let out.

Well the first weekend of April I'm kicking him out for a family hen do as obviously we can't invite my little sister to the grown up do (!) so I'm not keen on kicking him out for the second weekend. I think he'll just have to grin and bear it!

And Wendy don't count on it - he's chicken

Apart from that I think we've covered everything else - pillows, sleeping bags, cheese, wine, Anderson's desserts, and your sense of humour

That side-of-road driving thing amuses me. It's the right side because if you drive on the wrong one, you kinda hit a bit of trouble with traffic coming at you. So, when in England folks, it's the left side of the road, and that's all there is to it. Only time it will confuse you is crossing the road... I would assume. Based on when I went away, I'd look right then left and realise the traffic was wrong to my English eyes. Didn't take long though

I'm going to drive backwards, that way I will be on the left side of the road driving the right way.
