Today is not the day for Martin to show up!
Not that's it's anything to do with me, all these Woohoos talking boobiesNope, not me, nuhah, never said a word...........

Well I don't blame you wanting to limit yourself. And surely better for the children not to have your attention split too many ways.
Er......... too much work with too many children, just to clarify
Wood you really want him to remember you for that? Woodn't it be more awesome if he said "Oh you're the lady that sent me all that wonderful birthday art and video." rather than regaling others at future conventions about the mad English lady who wanted his squiggle permanently impressed upon her breasts.
Yeah... NO!
I doubt he'll remember me for that either, it probably got lost amongst all the other fan/birthday mail
Oh that made me giggle. When I was breastfeeding I used to call it boobie, as in, "Ben, it's boobie time." Dear old Benjabubs, once we got the hang of it, he did love his boobie. Sometimes I reallly miss that special time but, really, 18 months was long enough and he had plenty of teeth by then...
*huggles*
Good reply; not prying and very supportive. She may or may not open up more about herself and, if she's looking to place for adption she will remember your kindness and that will put you in a good light if you were a potential candiate. And if she's looking to adopt she'll appreciate your support and knowledge anf you may have made a lovely new friend.
I have to admit, now and again we get the odd person show up on our IF forums whose very unspecific about why they are there. I'm normally quite blunt in a polite way - sort of "tell me more about your situation and I'll point you in the right direction of where you can find the support and advice you seek." I've even had to tell a few that our forum isn't really for them - I mean, you're not infertile just because you haven't got pregnant in the first two months of trying!Although I do understand trying to conceive and it not happening is pretty stressful at any point.

I dunno about the others but I've had a really tough day and am shattered. Having a lurk at the moment.
Your note to the new lady on the adoption forum was very well put LJ. I wood certainly appreciate a friendly welcome if I were in her position. I imagine it can be very daunting.

What on earth has been going on here today???
*huggles Valerie and Jumble and Sarai*
LJ, I think that message sounds great
I'm very excited because I'm off out this evening to the cinema to see this, which my Dad is in! He's in the choir, and there's a shot of him in the trailer so he should definitely be on screen at least once!sigpic

It was going to be Easter but they decided it would cause more disruption to do it for the four working days right afterwards
Hope Oma's still going to be able to comeIf it comes to it, I can probably come and pick you up, but Cornwall's a bit far

They're saying there's still room for negotiation, so we'd all better cross our fingers
I was getting this from this article.

Thanks for the huggles Woohoos, I went out and bought fish and chips for my dinner and now everything looks a lot better!!
The Shipmeet!!!!!
I really hope Oma can still make it. I guess we will just have to hope and cross everything
.
Striking really makes me angry. I understand these people must feel as though they have no other option and are only trying to make their bosses sit up and listen but I wish they would spare a thought for the rest of us that are just trying to go about our lives. I live in deathly fear that BA will strike again when we are trying to go to Vancouver Jumble

There wood be blood, and lots of bodies
What ticks me off is how they always do these things when it will cause the most upset, and then they expect the public to sympathize with them
I've texted Oma, but not heard back yet. I sooooo hope she can still make it *crosses fingers and toes*
