That's interesting. I didn't know the age thing extended to daycare. Wild! And I feel the same way you do. I think, Hey, here's a built in Best Buddy. Ah well. I do not make the decisions and mine is not to ask why. Things will work out as they're supposed to.

And yet apparently it's ok for Nurseries and Schools to have whole classes full of children the same age

Makes no bloody sense to me at all I'm sure the people who think up these ideas have no experience whatsoever of children or their needs

So what would happen if they had twins for placement then? It would bee ok for them to grow up together I assume? How would this be any real different?

It's a gadget for pressing CTL Alt and DEL at the same time without overreaching. I guess people don't often do that now since Windows has changed. It used to be reboot but now it just launches task manager.

Oh well of course, that's different I'm not allowed to have two children under one, because of course I woodn't be able to cope with them, give them enough attention...... but I'm allowed to have them if they're twins! Or triplets! Because then I wood magically become superchildminder and cope easily *shakes head and mutters*

No, it's my own fault (and Nad's ) I've been bombarding the threads with Martin's awesomeness for months now, it's only to be expected that others wood follow And I'm happy to share him.......... well, pics of him........

It's ok really . It's not like we've done anything wrong, it's just such a nightmare! Although I'm much less upset than I was earlier .

For those of you that don't know...

My landlady came around today to tell us that her house is being repossessed and the bailiffs are coming on Wednesday (apparently she has known this for some time but failed to impart this to us ). Since she owns the house we live in technically the bailiffs have to assume that the items in it also belong to her. We can show the tenancy agreement and prove they aren't but they would be taken and then we'd have to get them back (can you believe that !!)

There still might be a chance she can save both properties by selling her business but as far as I'm concerned that could take months and I'd rather not be involved with someone who's in such a dire financial situation. Dave and I have decided to cut our losses and move out, only that means finding a new place within the next few days and relying on the good grace of local friends and family to help us out .

Really though you find out who your friends are at a time like this and the response I've had on FB has been phenomenal. And even though you guys are far away I can't thank you enough either, it means so much to me that you wood even offer. Like I keep saying to Dave, we'll be fine, it's not as if it's our house that is being repossessed. Even though I'm fuming with our landlady, I do feel sorry for her as she is losing everything

Sarai, my sisters' and I had a similar situation last year (back in April) except it was our parents who were struggling and baliffs were knocking on their door and we had to pack up and leave -- it was so sudden because my mother had kept it from us all. I know it is scary to suddenly pack up and have to move like that, and scramble, but like you said, financially you guys are gonna be fine. *huggles* I do wish I was closer, just to help

I really hope you find somewhere asap, and that it all goes well. *fingers crossed*
