Sooooo loved this one, despite the fact that I saw 'Daniel' so clearly I've seen Michael Shanks in other stuff and I always have trouble seeing him as anyone other than Daniel

Loved the storyline, loved the split screen, loved the fact that I thought of the heat scanner before Magnus did

And the whole thing felt to me like one of those Sunday afternoon Western matinees, but in a good way.

Nice to get a bit of backstory on Kate.

Couple of tiny nitpicks though : You never never give alcohol to somebody with a bleeding wound, because it thins the blood and stops it clotting And leaning one's arm across someone's chest whilst giving them mouth to mouth isn't a good idea

I think MS is defnitely improving with age though. I almost started thunking him tonight.
I also worked out the Kate/Jimmy connection before the event (well, not what it was but the moment they both said they were from Chicago I figured there would be something there.) I thought it was great though.

See sometimes the split screen annoys but tonight it was perfectly used.

Also I... actually can't remember what I was going to say...

...umm...

... oh yes that's it; the pouch thing at the start was one of those shots that, ok, I think there's times when green screen effects don't really work. A rubber suit/pouch would have looked a lot better there. Late ron when you see his pouch (when he doens't put his hand in it) it looks much better.

I also didn't think the way Kate was up and about so soon after nearly dying was very realistic.

Very minor nits though.

And it that made any sense it's a flipping miracle!

EDIT: Penguin Balls baubles! Love 'em (no room on my tree for that though. I have enough decorations for 3 trees already I reckon. I am banned from buying anymore.

Yup, that's what they look like Only Wilkinson's haven't got any this year - at least, not at my local store I've only got 3 left Although I have seen some rather cute ones on the internet....


Cags - I totally agree, MS is definitely improving with age
