If I ruled GW I wood...Ensure each post HAD to start with a hug or a happy dance.

Regarding movie news. Any news is great IMO, given the lack of it up until now.
I feel fairly confident that, unless there's a huge issue with the schedule, Martin will direct. He did Continuum and look how amazing that was. They'd be crazy not to bring him in for it. Plus, if he can't do it due to schedule, neither will Amanda be able to and they can't make an SG-1 movie without having Sam in it.
Yeah, it would have been lovely for Joe to say it but given how far removed he is from the movies at the moment, I'm not concerned that he hasn't.

I'm with you on this. I don't think they know anything about who will be directing it. I know Amanda has said she wants to do the movie, and I can't imagine an SG-1 movie without her. Martin did fabulous work with Continuum, it really blew me away, and I want him to do the next one.

Ugh...just back from school...but some people! my ex-bf came to sit next to me in class while there were enough other places free(I was early and had to wait on my friends so just went to sit somewhere in the class) ...doesn't the dude know I don't really feel like talking to him or sitting next to him in class...FCOL...
My friends saw it later and felt sorry for me!(they had to sit on the other side of the class coz no places left and they were late)
I was cranky so I didn't feel like talking to him and he was just sooo annoying. Doesn't that dude understand the meaning of "no" and "back-off"

I agree with this - it's great to hear even the tiniest tidbit after such a long time, and I'm sure it doesn't mean anything bad - they did already say he would, after all
