Cagranosalis, it's okay. I wasn't around for any of that. I just didn't want people to think I was being nasty by not replying under a spoiler tag, because that wasn't my intention, and I honestly didn't consider what I was saying as a spoiler that I didn't think about the original comment from the other poster.

Last time I really spent any signification amount of time here, the S/J thread was booming and fun, and people posted and discussed stuff, and this thread was new.

Well I think you did well to miss that at the time. It was hair pullingly frustrating!

The S/J thread can still be fun from time to time. But it isn't even the same as when I joined only a year ago. There was a lot more balance between discussion and play then. I probably spend more time here than I do over there now. But then, who can deny the thunkiness of The Martin.

I wouldn't know about it being a good thing to miss it -- obviously I've skipped out on some kind of important moment. Oops. I've been on GW so long, trust me, it's changed. It's changed a lot.

The S/J thread has really changed the last year...probably because a lot of the really discussion people left and also some other stuff happened...plus the big ...no news thing.

I still love it, but I post very little. Sure the tone has changed somewhat in the past year or so, but it had lows before... Maybe we're becoming GW oldies. Maybe the music played in the thread is the rock and roll to our classical tunes. The Woodstock to our Bethel. The X Factor to our take your guitar to the bar night...
Maybe it's the new Shipping. *shrugs*

I still read the thread every day, just don't feel much like posting. You're right, it's had its ups and downs in the past and it will pick up again as soon as we hear that they've started working on Movie 3

I Hate SGU. It's all TPTB's fault. That scene scarred me for life, My dog is upset because of Joe's pugs, I used to like Stargate, but SGU has sucked my love for the franchise out of me and I now can't look at Sam Carter without seeing her in bed with the lesbian character who has made me feel like my heart got ripped out. You ruined Stargate PTB! I bet you kill puppies. The last ep of SGU made me kick my parrot. Everything is wrong about SGU and I can tell because I have watched from the beginning and I still watch every week, unlike all the other people who complain. You owe me PTB, I bought he boxsets and the movies and now I have no money left. The PTB suck and my tummy hurts''
