I was very sad to hear this news. Whistler was one of those rare people who were able to walk between many threads on this forum and always post wisely and kindly.

I was wondering, if anyone felt like doing something in her memory, about clicking on the link below to fund free mammograms for women in need? If it's not appropriate then someone who was close to her let me know and I'll delete the link.

I know Whistler was for that Astronomical, I don't think anyone will mind.

          Hi everyone,
I'm really sorry to hear about Sana. Even though I only knew her by her posts she seemed to be a kind, compassionate, talented,... girl. She was the one who tried to keep everything under control and she will be sorely missed by us all. I'm so amazed to see how everyone gatters together to say she was awesome. I'm sure she would be very proud of you.

My deepest sympathy to her friends and family.

Very sad to hear about Sana's passing, especially as she was beating the cancer. I'd like to take that as a sign that she was meant for better things in a happier place.

My thoughts go out to her family and friends.

She was artisticly talented and I enjoyed reading her posts. It was very refreshing to see someone who was gladly excepted in a number of threads despite them being of conflicting interest.

Rest In Peace sweetheart. You'll be missed

I'm really sorry to hear about Whistler - if her real life personality was anything like her online one then she was a great person. I used to talk to her a bit, but recently haven't spent much time on Gateworld, however she was always fair and open to all opinions.

I don't know what else to say I'm completely in shock still.

I didn't really get to know her well, but I heard she was a fine person. It's always sad when someone dies especially such a young person.
My deepest sympathies and condolences to her friends and family.

Although I never got the chance to get to know her, I saw her around on the forums and read some of her posts, and saw her wonderful sigs. She seemed like a very nice girl.

My heart goes out to her family and those of you who knew her. I know she will be sorely missed.

erm....sorry if the way I opened this post early offended anyone... I didn't meant speechless becuase it's such a shock that someone on this forum passed on.....sorry I didn't mean to sound insensitive.

I'm shocked and saddened by this loss. I always enjoyed reading Whistler's wonderfully detailed posts in the Teyla and Weir threads and she made such beautiful sig graphics.

And she was so tolerant of other views, so respectful of other ships and characters and, most importantly, fans. She was a standard that I wish everyone here could hold to.

Her presence and thoughts will be sorely missed.

I have no idea what to say for this onslaught of sympathy. I'm Terry, Sana's real life best friend. I informed everybody of Sana's passing away yesterday, but I had absolutely no idea that it would generate this type of reaction. U all are absolutely amazing, and i find myself just reading and rereading all these kinds words. I'm collecting some of these posts for a memorial book I'm making for her funeral tomorrow. Just know that your sympathies and well wishes will be heard/read by many people who knew Sana in real life.

                                THANK YOU ALL.
                                Sig by Whistler84, RIP.
You believed in me when it seemed only I could. You stood by me when no one else would.
Even though we are two friends who did tragically part, I know your loving memory will forever survive in my heart
