I can't believe I was online that rarely the last 2 weeks that I only found this very sad news only today

I didn't knew whistler/sana very well, only from her posts in the Torri and S/W threads...and especially her great Fanarts. I'm very sad she won't come back here... it feels strange, that there won't be any new sigs to discover... she will be missed very much.

My thoughts and in deepest sympathy are with her family and friends...it must be hard to loose someone this young.

I found some of Sana's famous sigs, and decided to post up my favorite of hers:

the only thing I added was the "sig by whistler84" mark in the corner. in her true tradition, anybody wants can take.
          Sig by Whistler84, RIP.
You believed in me when it seemed only I could. You stood by me when no one else would.
Even though we are two friends who did tragically part, I know your loving memory will forever survive in my heart
          .

I just recently found out about the passing of our family member Whistler84. Although I've been on Gateworld for some time now, I never met Sana because I have always hung out in my own little corner of the forums. But from what people have been able to tell about her, I feel like I know her. What everyone has said and done for her shows how much everyone cares about each other here, and I think it would make her happy to know that. She is in my prayers, as is her family, her friends, and her fiance. God Bless you and keep you safe in these difficult times.
Well, most of us were at work here...

I made a promise to Sana that I would support and spread the word around to others regarding breast cancer...I am going to hold two parties; one at work and one in church in support of this cause..here is the link to this wonderful nationwide cause..please check it out...

Another great idea that is part of the contribution and support for breast cancer research is the famous pink pin...
here is a website with a reasonable price for pins and for the month of March you get a deal of buy one and get one free...also something that I intend to do...

Thanks everyone! It's not much but it's something and if we all do a little it will be a lot!

Was not aware that it was Breast Cancer. As the son of an OB/GYN, if you're a woman over the age of 18 - you really should be having an annual pap smear and doing monthly breast self-exams. If you're a guy, you should be doing testicular self-exams. Cure rates for all three types of cancers are extremely high if caught early.

While some use this unexpected correlation as proof of intelligent design, I believe that its all about the person's choice of mushrooms.

I also believe that there is a tear developing in the space-time continuum which if left uncheck will allow Microsoft to become a world power. I suspect that unless we all download Firefox 3 on the same day, thus sealing the tear, that life as we know it may be over and children will have their teddy bears and blankets ripped mercilessly from their arms.

Thanks for the links, Camy! I'm going to be bringing them to the breast cancer awareness club at school when spring break is over. You'll have to tell us how the parties go for you. *huggles* You're awesome!

Not everyone knows that chyron, that's why it's important to spread the word. Good luck with those parties Camy.

Terry, I've never seen that sig before... I really like it!

You'd think that parents would be discussing that when their discussing puberty and such...oh wait, you'd think that parents would be discussing puberty to begin with. (Pardon the sarcasim)

Understood, S/P. Fortunately, my parents went to college in the 60s.

Camy, thank you for those links. I already have a pin (along with a wrist band), but certainly, others still need to get one.

As for the link above that one, I plan to visit there every day.

Camy, what a beautiful thought. I don't even know how to put into words how moving this is. Sana was an exceptionally lucky girl to have a friend like you!

Terry....all I can say...is thanks...It's nothing compare to how much often Sana made me smile on days when I needed it the most!..and sometimes she gave me some online whacks as well...I loved those even more!

As I said...I'm on a mission...so here is another little news for those of you who haven't heard yet about the possible connection between anti-perspirant deodarant and breast cancer...

as requested by somebody who PM'd me, these are some of Sana's other sigs:

Okay, that's all for now, folks. There's actually more, but I don't have time to put them up right now. Pretty, no? I see what people mean when they say Sana supported multi-shipping, even if she was a big S/W fan.

I'm afraid that I never had the pleasure of getting to know Whistler, but after reading this incredibly moving thread, I wish I had.
I am glad that there is a thread here in honour of her memory.

It once again reminds me what an amzing thing this is, that a television science fiction show can bring so many people so close together like family.
