I don't think that matters. The point is that this was an extremely tiny error that was only noticable for a fraction of a second. Again, it's a miracle that anyone spotted it, professionals or otherwise.

But that's why you hire people to bug check, to watch it many times over at very slow speeds.

I'm sure the intro had been checked and edited many times. It just a fact that somethings slip through. Books have typos, credits get fudged, CGI has errors, it happens.

Question: Did you notice the error in the opening before it was pointed out?

Because a building in a cityscape that's being rapidly zoomed out of is just such a glaring error. Seriously, it happens in just about everything. Watch Braveheart, and see how many of the people forgot to take off their watches.

Please don't make silly comments like this if you know nothing of the broadcasting industry.

Even movies that cost millions to make do not have people "watching it many times at slow speed". That's just silly. Only people who has nothing to do with their time watch films and TV shows over and over slowly trying to discover some minute errors that would otherwise be invisible during normal viewing (go read IMDB if you like these "goofs").

Besides, it's the INTRO SEQUENCE, you know, the part where most people skip or take a washroom break?

This ISN'T a video game production. There are no "beta testers". In total probably less than five people watch the sequence before it's aired, namely the animator, the shot supervisor, the compositer, the director, and the producer(s).
