I was very curious to see how they would work Teyla and Ronin into the episode, and unless I missed something they were nowhere to be found. Clearly, because in this universe they are wherever they are in Pegasus. This is an example of courageous and smart writing. They didn't try for one moment to try and force all of the characters into this episode knowing they didn't belong.
He really could just get everyone to obey his every whim with a look like that.

And this whole hawt!Rodney thing really speaks to DH as an actor, 'cause that's not a look our Rodney would ever give anyone. Never.
This Rodney was not only arrogant, but he was confident that he had every reason to be that arrogant. He was calm, cool, and collected and he totally in control.
Maybe he'd have caught on about the lead coroner being replaced if he wasn't too busy judging Jennifer by her looks I suppose Shep could have been MENSA in that universe as well.
