I pronounce "Graham" almost exactly like "Gram."

I suppose what I'm actually saying is "Gra'am", but if I say it fast, it doesn't matter if I'm talking about a kid from down the street named "Graham" or "graham crakers" or the weight of a cubic centimeter of water or the abbreviated form of "grandmother," they all come out sounding about the same.

There are two syllables in Graham.

            Yes, It's pronounced 'Gray-em'.
If you are in the US or Canada it usually sounds more like 'Gram', because that's just how they say it... don't know why.
My husband is British and is called Graham (Gray-em), and he should know.

It really sounded to me like she said "Graham" in the car, which would make sense considering that was the name in the original script.

(I pronounce the name as one syllable, "Gram.")

I heard it as Grant in the car.
I seem to remember reading that Shep's brother was going to be called Graham, but they changed it to Dave - perhaps because they thought Grant and Graham were too similar.

It wasn't the name in the original script though... it was Sheppard's brother's name in the original script, but not Nancy's new husband's...

I thought she just said Grant, and it was heavily accented

Lots of names change from original scripts, for whatever reason. Even Nancy was another name as I recall. Maybe they do it because they KNOW fans find these sides and go "let's put the name down as xxx so the fans can spend months looking for hidden meanings." Personally, I liked Graham, if only to make Graham cracker jokes in my parodies

Its the same as Bernard (Berr-nard) and Bernard (Buhrn-nerd). Different accents, same name.

If I remember correctly, the erly spoilers had his brother named Graham. I checked them about a month ago to make sure since I was writing a fanfiction and needed to know. Maybe they changed it to the ex-wifes husband.
