The Anti Season 4 Thread (Spoilers). For complaints and misgivings ONLY.

What I wonder some times about is the fact that the things so many people are complaining about, others find perfectly acceptable and some even love it. What am I doing wrong? What is wrong with my viewership? Why am I not satisfied? I am not a over the top demanding. I like a good story, and even though one of my favorite character was killed/written off, I was willing to give it a chance. I find that I have wasted much of my time.

I was willing to give it a chance too. It's not like I wanted to hate a show I'd grown to love. I don't think we're doing anything wrong, I don't think we're too demanding. Your views are valid.

My main reason for watching is the characters, and two I loved were replaced by two I dislike. That skews all the character interactions. Throw in some uninspired writing and juvenile humor, and it becomes not the show I loved. Some odd, pale copy of it.

People have different tastes. I don't like it when a cookie recipe's sugar is replaced by salt, but some people might find it tasty.

It seemed to me that all the popular-with-fan-characters-that-aren't-john- and-rodney like Zelenka, Lorne, Weir, Carson, Ronon and Teyla were made to look bad, killed off, made fun of, made to stand around and look pretty or given some really crap storylines so TPTB's favourite characters like Sam and Keller would shown as being better than the cast already in situ and TPTB hoped we'd like them better. Oh boy were they gravely mistaken

Heck. I agree. Even John and Rodney are suffering - maybe not intentionally as the others are, but still are. Shep's immaturity with Larrin and kirking for one. Rodney has suffered so much because of cast changes IMHO.

Oh, dont get me started on the shep/larrin kirking, cant stand that! I agree Rodney has suffered because he had a really great relationship with carson and weir now they are gone he's being shoved with keller and it feels Wrong!

And poor Radek, keller and sam made fun of him in trio(rodney didnt mean it im sure!) they made him out to be perving on sam in quarantine and again its just out of character. Ronon was out of character with that whole keller thing and teyla, who's teyla? I miss my favourite show.

Woolsey will be in charge of Atlantis, Carter will have her own warship (but won't go kamikaze), Dr. Frankenstein will keep doomsday child, Teyla will die (or go hybrid, or go Wraith Queen) at some point, McKay and Whining baby will hook up, Whining baby will die, Ronon and Todd will hook up, Zelenka will be coffee boy. Am I missing something? Yes, McShep will go on and on and on and on... *cough* Hmm, what else? Oh yeah, some people will watch that and shout "best season EVAH!"
