You know guys, peg did deserve to have her off topic post removed. And another mod did remove it. And it was off topic and shouldn't have been posted here.

BUT, she did have a point. There has been a lot of talking about other fans.

Please stop.

You don't like it when others talk about you, so don't do it to others.

Please, concentrate on sharing your issues with the show and the season and leave other fans out of it.

When you talk about them behind their backs, all you do is make it more and more tempting for them to drop in to see what you're saying about them or to see what's going on now. And I know you guys don't like feeling like people are watching you, but you all but invite them in by talking about others instead of discussing the show.

You are like the party on the front porch with the loud music that gets frustrated when the neighbors call the cops, where as if you just kept your party inside and kept the music as a reasonable level, no one would care.

Who cares what the pro's think? You have your opinions and they're the right opinion for you, so just keep things to that and leave others be.

I have a question - maybe I am naive -- but how do these people find out? I mean, as far as I know, no one was talking badly about anyone else or anything like that. So we have snoops? Snooping? In toddler talk - that's called tattle telling, is highly discouraged.

I'm really tired of people spouting, "OMG, the special effects rocked! This episode was the BEST!"

Doesn't anyone care about story anymore? I made a post in the episode thread saying once ya got past the pretty fireworks, there wasn't much left that wasn't full of holes, and I got slammed from every direction with, "What's wrong with pretty effects?"

I didn't see AoT, but I heard that it was a mishmash of a movie - trying to cram the end of the Ori into an hour and a half (hmm...sort of like dispatching almost all the Asurans in BAMSR...). I don't think AoT did the franchise any favors.

It's not worthy of the definition "movie". It's a longwinded episode and as far as two-parters go in SG1, I'd have to say that I've seen better stuff, way better stuff.
