I don´t mind relationships in sci-fi. Farscape or anything is good example that it works. But they need capable writers who can write it. Not those "writers" who are not able to write a relationship between Jack and Sam even after ten years. Everything they offer are AU/under influence of entity/virus relationships that they reset in the end of the episode.

We know Rodney and Katie have relationship and they barely showed it. Same with Teyla, she has some boyfriend who we haven´t seen. Well, we even haven´t heard of him before Missing.
And the hiding of her pregnancy is ridiculous. Why do they try to write romance, relationships or anyhting human-related, when they can´t write it?
