I think I didn't like S8 because the baby-arc sucked. I liked season 9 again, but to me it was more of a spin-off than real XF.

The baby arc did suck but Robert Patrick did bring a breath of fresh air to the show, IMO anyway

Yup, XF9 was definitely a different show.... which is why I stopped watching it alltogether. See the pattern here?

...but...but...but...but I always called her Dana *angel look *. I'll try to be more specific from now on . I guess they both love blue. Wonder if DD will contact JF for some hair styling tips . JF has a bigger rep than Johnny Bravo when it comes to hair style

Not trying to stir up trouble, but I agree with Reefgirl, I did like Doggett and Reyes, lol. It's kinda like there was so much angst with M/S that it was refreshing starting over. I got hooked on SGA [and Sparky] because the relentless angst of S/J over seven or eight seasons was really depressing me.

And that pic of M/S? Has been manipped/imitated to hell and back- I've seen so many variations on it, there was the Pretender version, the Dragon Ball Z version...more that I can't remember right now...

And ITA with Ice Wolf- I could handle the later seasons of X-files. Especially since what happened was DD's choice. That's the main factor with me. [And it didn't hurt that another substitute ship popped up- okay, their connection was never going to reach the depths of M/S but it wasn't for lack of trying and they only had one season together, after all] It really irritates me to hear that Torri being recurring in season 4 doesn't mean she's being written out and that Torri was the one to blame for Weir not returning...NOTHING about this whole Weir fiasco was up to her.

Lastly, on the Johnny Bravo thing- I couldn't stand that show because it made me want to tear my hair out for detesting and pitying the dude. Remember the ep where he gets a wish and asks for all the chicks to come chasing after him? And then CHICKENS pursue him? I felt so bad for him!
