So Zelenka is a creepy guy and we're supposed to believe that at least two of the women don't like him (I don't buy Rodney's comment at all). Two of the least liked new characters coming down on a character that most of the fandom has liked or loved since the first season. Yeah, way to endear Carter and Keller to the fandom, PTB.
Yeah I hated that comment. I love Zelenka.

I read about that comment. I was shocked. She was so cute and loving with him when he broke the crystals yet in this episode she acted horrible towards him. Go figure, you never know with women . Tell me something I don't know .

Pfffft! I had a coffe with my Stargate buddies today and we were discussing characters. I mentioned Zelenka, saying how easy is to love him. How can writers treat him like this? And other characters too? Not only that it's not nice to zelenka it's not good for other characters too. makes them look.... b*tchy?
I'm not weird, I'm limited edition.

I think I just made myself very unliked in the Trio-discussion thread:

It seems juvenile, fraternity humor is liked.

Turning female characters into sex objects to lust after is wanted.

Well, this female thinks it was a bad joke and would have kicked McKay in the nuts making him cry and hoping he'd still would be able to have McKay juniors afterwards.

At this point, I think it's being written in one. JM, on his blog, attacked those who object to Keller asking McKay out as being Victorian, lacking in social skills, or reaching to discredit the character. Lovely. Well, I'll go with Victorian, since I'm wearing my whalebone corset today. EDIT: Actually, I think the Victorians get a bad rap and I really like the literature of that period. He meant it as an insult, but I'll take it as a compliment.

Really bad call on their part, in my opinion. I wonder what they could do at this point to endear parts of fandom to their new characters. Not much, if anything. Becoming part of this fandom--at this particular point in time--has been an educational experience, that's for sure.

LOL. I giggle at the vision in my head ... A vision that should stay in my head, I don't know what I would do if that actually made it onscreen

Really? They both bother me equally, though one may rise above the other when news/etc comes out.

Gosh, Keller's acting like a sixth grader ... Not to say sixth graders are bad, I know plenty that are more mature than her.

I love Zelenka and the fact he is tptb's new victim (you dont need death to be a victim) really bothers me. I hate it that they're tyring to make characters we care about look bad in order to endear us to those we shall never give a s*** about.

That warrants a manip .... The boys partying with thier beers with Keller and Larrin and Carter. What should the frat house be called? Isn't one of those Greek letters like the Earth Symbol?

Pfft. I guess it's safe to say I've made a many nemesis' in the discussion threads for my Keller-dissing, even when it is backed up. It's amazing how many people say Keller is shaping up into a well-developed character. Not true, or at least not true in the good way. She's pretty developed in the whiny department.

Another thing that annoys me - people that say Carson was in too many episodes, that adding him as a regular was the stupidest decision ever (wtf), and yet they are supporting Keller full-time and saying she is not in enough episodes. Plus those who say Keller should stay because she is the 'hottest babe in the franchise' ... Gosh, IMO Carson was one of the hottest guys, and why didn't they keep him? Male viewers and thier 'hot babez' excuses are driving me to the breaking point Keller brings nothing other than her hot-babez-ness.

Seems a bit strange, no? Why try to do that with two characters they "love" and promo the hell out of?

I'll reword that. The handful (no pun intended) of times I have actually done that, it is to people I know well, know how they would react to it, and generally they have done it to me. And not as a form of greeting either. It is not something that I would want to see encouraged on tv. But in my experience, chicks in bars seem to be the worst ones at it, which is a little ironic. Okay enough offending people, time to go to work

Sounds like a good idea. I looked the Greek letters up in Wikipedia, and you must mean upper case lambda; they even have Stargate references in the article. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lambda

It's a shame John Belushi is no longer with us, he's have an idea guest star for Stargate Atlanits' Animal House, how about a manip of Rodney in a Toga

Looks to me like TPTB tried to make Whining baby and Overgrown sissy-toy look better by making Scruffy genius look bad, but in the end they made Overgrown sissy-toy, Whining baby and All-eating grumpy man look bad while Scruffy genius is the innocent victim of their gossip

Anyone ever wondered how would SGA opening credits look like if it was a character driven show instead of a plot one?

                              Here's your answer.
