Seems things got so bad in the "why will s4 do better than s3" that the mods had to close it down temporarily to clean up the mess. Nothing out of the ordinary and unexpected because of the nature of the thread.

In our defense, I don't see Antis starting threads such as "why will s4 suck", or "why will s4 kill SGA", or "how Carter will sink Atlantis" etc. We just sit on our comfy anti-couch and have fun.

I need to stay away from these anti-threads since i feel season 4 will be great. Everyone has their opinions of the show, but people seem to take that negative anti energy and attack people personally. Now the pro side are the same way when they are doing the defending.

I know how it goes with the moderating, its not easy to seperate people, you still get people coming into the anti-threads and vice versa.

I guess that's what the debate threads are for, but does it stop there the debating? No.

LOL, you should of seen me Season 9 of SG-1, I would of fit in well with that anti-movement. But thankfully Season 10 was a lot better!

The thing about us Anti's (well, for me, anyway) is that we're not against Atlantis by any means. We love the show, we're just not thrilled about some of TPTB's decisions concerning the drastic changes to come.

But I'm open to taking a lightheard approach, not bashing those for S4.

I image that the others think of us as very serious people (which is clearly a mistake . Otherwise they wouldn't get angry so often. I mean, who cares if someone hates season 3 and favors season4 ? Well, I don't. I don't like what they did to Carson but I won't attack people who did not care about Carson... They do not understand that we can dislike the decisions but at the same time we can joke about it and continue watching.... I guess, they have no sense of humor;-P

Well, occasionally yes there seems to be a lack of humor but I guess that's because it's so hard to get emotions across with just typed words as your only tool. And there just don't seem to be enough smileys to fill the void.

The problem with the pro threads is that they are optimistic about the next season, and are therefore well aware that a crushing blow may be about to topple onto them from a great height.

The anti thread long ago abandoned optimism for pessimism which is actually a pretty win win situation, why? If the Season is as bad as many people expect then at the very least there is the comfort of 'I told you so' (personally I never get tired of saying it) and given that everyone here actually likes the show if by some miracle it is any good then we all get a nice surprise!!!!!
