Huh, so a lot of the rumors in that sliceofSF article look to be wrong, according to Joe M -

Shep won't be promoted and his leadership responsibilities will not change (thank goodness!), this new female character will not be on Shep's team or actually replace Teyla, and it looks like Katie Brown will not be back (fine by me!).

But if you read his response regarding Teyla, you'll see that he does not outright deny the rumor that Teyla/RL will have a reduced role in s5...

Well, looks like I lost some stinky socks in the bets, according to JM's blog. I don't mind though, since I didn't want what I bet to happen. I've listened to Slice of SciFi's podcasts before and I'm disappointed that they were so inaccurate in this article.

Well, I think I wouldn't be all that surprised if something were to happen to her in season 5... quite frankly I think I'm already at the anger-phase, so I completely skipped denial on this one. Next one is acceptance or semi-acceptance and from there I won't care anymore.

It was fun for the time it lasted, I guess...

Also, anti-ness is inspired by receiving bad prompts for my femme-fic challenge...not a single SGA one, and I'm so fandom handicapped. *sulk*

Yes, I did...I wasn't sure how my fellow anti's would react to something like that though. I actually thought it was really kind of him; I wasn't expecting it. I sent a SEW letter to Bridge, with chocolates, and even (respectfully) told him I have anti leanings. I question some of the decisions they've made about the show, obviously, but I'm not into bashing actual people...characters are fair game though. Life is short, and kindness is in short supply, so I try to extend it where I can, even to executive producers.
