One of the biggest anti Weir people has just admitted in at least two threads that he has a sock, that he posts under both, and has been using the sock while his other account is on moderation.

Nothing like building up your numbers if you can't find people who agree with you. I've reported him. If you figure out who it is, and feel inclined, go report him too. He was on moderation for a reason. He shouldn't be able to get around things by using a sock.

One of the biggest anti Weir people has just admitted in at least two threads that he has a sock, that he posts under both, and has been using the sock while his other account is on moderation.

Nothing like building up your numbers if you can't find people who agree with you. I've reported him. If you figure out who it is, and feel inclined, go report him too. He was on moderation for a reason. He shouldn't be able to get around things by using a sock.

Why do they let him get away with all he's doing, it's like he has some priviliges on GW. A newbie acting like this, creating multiple accounts and constantly breaking other rules would be banned right away, I think. Maybe the mods enjoy "playing" with him. lol

This Alison Porter character -- I don't know about you guys, but a couple of us have been speculating in emails and think that she's going to be a replacement for Teyla in the team, if not all the time, at least for part of it.

I wouldn't be surprised if part of their big announcement was that Rachel would only be in 12 or so eps of season five, after having the baby. This new under 30 female captain will most likely take her place in the team in some episodes.

(Am I the only one who laughs at the name Alison Porter?? I keep thinking of Curly Sue -- you know, that kiddy movie. The actress was Alisan Porter)

She's definitely their extra female character. I think we can say goodbye to the idea of Torri being in more than one or two episodes. Maybe she'll be in just enough for them to kill Weir again. We should start calling her Stargate Kenny!

Ehhhh... Its not like there's a phenomenal amount of male characters that play any importance. Rodney, John, Ronon... to a small degree Lorne and sometimes Zelenka. With a small recurring cast can you really call them sexist just because there's less women?

I think its sexist because more male characters have been killed than females. Hows that?

But that's a lot more than women. How many apart from Teyla can you list as being in nearly every episode and being an important factor in plots? There isn't any others. There used to at least be Elizabeth as well some others for short periods and Lorne and Zelenka appear more and are better written than Keller and Carter. It’s becoming like a boys’ club.

I saw that too. I couldn't stop laughing at the sheer absurdity of it; my co-worker actually came into my office to see what was the matter with me, and I still couldn't stop giggling.

Oh, I didn't think about her replacing Teyla...that might be exactly what will happen. So we'd only have one Pegasus galaxy native on the team and there would be fresh new eye candy for the key demographic. Oh, man. At least I will always have 3 seasons of SGA to enjoy.

Why are they replacing everyone? Why even bother with Stargate Universe, they are transforming SGA into a whole new show anyway. Also some people are saying in the Kindred thread are claiming that the writers never really wanted to kill Beckett, and it may have been the network's decision. According to them TPTB were either have been planning to bring Carson back from the time he was killed or if the save Carson campaign got on tv. Is any of this true? It sounds a bit far fetched to me.
