Regarding Torri, she is a very smart woman and will not accept half measures. I just hope that all these petitions won't put her between a rock and a hard place. She does not deserve to be abused more .

Now I can agree with that. I don't think she's going to make a decision that's not to her own benefit at all.

I read the news in the Save Elizabeth Weir LJ comm first, then in the thread, and again in the Pro-Weir thread. Not exactly places of much negativity... or a little of it anyway.

I unsubscribed from that thread (Pro-Season 4) for the reason it is too perky. At the moment, I can't deal with too happy. Carson's so called come back is making me extremely sad and pissed off. TH not being asked yet, pretty much seals Weir's fate imo. Teyla not being used is giving me urges to stop watching. McShep pretty much pulls me over to actually stop though.

I'm not interested in anyone else but Kate, Teyla and Elizabeth. The others are just there. Add a little Zelenka, cause he's fun and that's it. I watch for the characters getting in all sorts of trouble and funny situations but if my fave characters are only there to play wallpaper or don't appear at all, I don't see why I should continue to watch.

It is sad, cause my hobby involves a lot of Stargate.

I don't think the SEW campaign will accomplish something. JM was proud with the way they had taken the story of Weir, and giving someone the option "to walk or stay recurring" sends a pretty clear message, I think.
I highly doubt we'll see Weir again, otherwise they wouldn't have compared her situation to Ford last year in January. I think it's a done deal.

I'm sorry, Falcon. Will it make you feel better to know that as a Carson fan I'm still extremely sad and pissed off? Part of it is I don't trust what Carson's comeback will actually be and a lot is all the bitterness I feel for these changes I did not want.

TH not being asked yet, pretty much seals Weir's fate imo.

It does seem to rule out a return to regular cast status this season. Don't know what it means as far as potential number of episodes.

I watch for the characters getting in all sorts of trouble and funny situations but if my fave characters are only there to play wallpaper or don't appear at all, I don't see why I should continue to watch.

The show is a product. You are a consumer and under no obligation to buy something which doesn't satisfy you. It always amazes me when people insist others must watch for some reason or another.

agreed... as much as i dispise sam and keller.. if they had been done right maybe i wouldn't

if weir was still in charge... and sam showed up in her ship once in awhile to lend a hand... and keller was carson's zelenka... i'd still probably be watching the show.

I saw how everyone in the PRO S4 thread praised harmony. So I took a shot of Vodka and watched it . Big big mistake . As I previously stated, I did not think TPTB can go lower. The proved they can go underground . My God, it was horrible, a mini-Keller whining all the time and then Rodney whining when mini-Keller wasn't whining. How typical Sheppard is the immaculate one and McKay the evil one. Oh yes, the toddler falls for Sheppard. Then the awesome Genii. It seems that they forgot how to capture someone . How many times have our people fallen in the hands of the Genii, yet in this episode, they chose the dumbest operatives . Where is Kolya when you need him? Oh yeah, they gave him a youtube style death. The painting? It was a good idea to save face but it deepened the plot hole. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't we already have an episode with royalty and ancient tech? From a storyline point of view, the Tower was better because those people lived in an ancient settlement. In Harmony, a bunch of tree huggers and corn growers, living in a medieval castle, were using mini-drones. They had no plumbing, no proper toilets, how can they use Ancient tech? My God, its mini-everything in this episode. Mini-Keller, mini-drones, mini-Sheppard (this is how I viewed the painting )

I kinda like Sunday... Didn't like what they did to Carson, cause I found him to be one of the sweetest guys on Atlantis. And I love the scottish accent. And I can only say that I felt truly sorry for the Carson-fans when he went boom.

His comeback sets of a whole slew of emotions within me, over which I don't seem to have much control. I feel anger that TPTB can bring him back, but can't give Weir the same courtesy. I feel sadness, knowing it will never happen to my fave character because she wasn't all that important to begin with. I am jealous with the Carson-fans that they will have him back. I am sceptic about the how and when he will return, or how they will explain the events in Sunday.

Like those who are urging everyone to get a copy from AoT, just to make sure more longwinded episodes movies will be made. Support the franchise.
Well, I'm all about supporting the franchise, but not so they can squeeze out more crappy stuff like the AoT.
